As you’ve probably seen on the blog, I have been using a recently launched car rental service: Audi on Demand, currently available only in San Francisco. I’ve used the service for weekend trips to wine country, quick business trips, and most recently during a visit from my family visiting San Francisco from Chicago. See all the fun we had over the weekend with the Audi on Demand services and getting to rent the killer Audi Q5.

The incredible interior of the Q5. It’s not only sporty, but it’s also elegant and modern, all at the same time. I have yet to find an Audi interior that I don’t love. The engineers and designers at Audi are really amazing, especially in how they combine a sleek sporty design with true luxury.
The Audi on demand team arriving with my Audi Q5. I’ve always dreamt about driving an Audi Q5 as I’ve always been an SUV girl, so this was literally my dream vehicle. Follow along on this weekend adventure with Audi on Demand and my Q5.
Nick from the Audi on Demand team delivering my Q5 and showing me around the new wheels.
Getting a demo of some of the Q5 features from Nick, such as the rear back up camera.
The amazing console. You can have this view or a map view in addition to a few others. So many fun options to choose from.
Picking up my visitors for the weekend at SFO, my nephew Oliver and my Dad. The best part of this Q5 rental was that it came with a child car seat (included at no additional cost), so Oliver was well taken care of for his weekend visit to San Francisco. If you’re having a more active weekend, such as skiing in Tahoe or doing biking they can also provide a bike rack or ski rack (also included in the rental price). The Audi on Demand team has thought of everything!
First stop after the airport pick up was In-n-Out Burger, of course. Oliver was a happy guy saying his burger was even better than McDonalds (quite a statement from a 4-year old!).
Our Sunday adventure to Oakland’s Alameda Flea Market. My little passenger Oliver all smiles during our Alameda adventure. He would ask me to open the sunroof as the Q5 has a HUGE sunroof spanning from the front passenger seats all the way to the back seat, so he really loved that.
The guys ready to shop at Alameda Flea Market. Take note of the Annies Fruit Snacks in Oliver’s hand. I stocked up on treats for him and he must have had one of these every other hour. The perks of visiting an aunt who spoils you!
Second stop was some furniture shopping at the Alameda Pottery Barn Outlet. Since I had just moved into my new apartment, I was hoping to find some goodies to help furnish the place.
Oliver fell in love with this soft furry chair.
We did one last stop at my old apartment grabbing a few last items. Oliver was literally buried in back seat in boxes, yet he was still all smiles being such a good sport and helper.
Big night out in the Mission, dining at Delfina Restaurant. This is one of my favorite spots in the area. Read more about Delfina Restaurant here.
My little date Oliver in Lego heaven! That was a surprise and he definitely kept himself busy during this adult dinner!
Field trip to the park for me and Oliver.
Next adventure: Marin bound to visit the Marin Mammal Center and Rodeo Beach, one of my favorite spots in Marin to take visitors to experience the beautiful Marin headlands. Read more about Rodeo Beach here.
The stunning views of Rodeo Beach.
On our way back to San Francisco, we did another stop in Sausalito at The Discovery Museum. The views of San Francisco from this beautiful Sausalito location are spectacular. Check them out below!
Hooray! I am such a happy girl. After driving this car for the past 3 days, I am falling in love.
Heading back to San Francisco from Marin after a full day of fun and adventures!
After a fun weekend hosting these guys, I said farewell and dropped them off at SFO.
Thanks to Audi on Demand for sponsoring this post. As always, I only write about products or services I have experienced first hand and believe in. Audi on Demand is one of the most incredible car rental services I have ever experienced, especially for Audi lovers like myself.
