B Patisserie’s NEW B On The Go Cafe

For all of you sweet eaters who LOVE San Francisco’s B Patisserie you will be thrilled to hear owners Belinda Leong and Michel Suas recently opened a second location, B On The Go in June of 2015.  Being a HUGE lover of B Patisserie or “B Patiss” as I call it, typically visiting at least twice a week I was thrilled to learn this. I love “B Patiss”so much that they were a part of a guest feature I wrote for San Francisco’s Racked website, sister brand to Eater.com where I shared “How A JetSetter Spends A Saturday In Pacific Heights.” Check out the post here.

B On The Go is located kiddy corner from B Patiss, in the former Blue Fog Market location.  I feel lucky to have attended the private opening party prior to the public opening and was blown away by how gorgeous the space is. Knowing how aesthetically pleasing on the eye B Patiss is, and the gorgeous design and decor it’s no surprise B On The Go is so stunning.  At the opening party I chatted with Belinda’s business partner, and former baking teacher Michel who shared that most of the Cafe’s construction was done by him and his team. They also restored a gorgeous antique door left by the prior tenants which really adds to the charm of the cozy farm to table setting you’ll find in the Cafe.

At the new location there will of course be the amazing sweets and bites we know so well from B Patiss. You’ll also find some exciting new menu items including fresh meats, roasted Mary’s Chickens coming out of one of the most gorgeous ovens I’ve ever seen, salads and sweets. Breads and croissants will also be available.  Speaking of bread, the Baquettes and Bread Loafs on display at the opening party were so wonderful I was tempted to take a loaf home with me (kidding…. actually not really! ).  Some of the delicious items on the menu I tasted included:

Sandwiches: Porchetta, Grilled Cheese with Mushroom Duxelle, & Grec. The sandwiches featured the tasty Chicken and Meats from the Rotisserie as well as their home-made breads. How divine!

Cookies: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies, Ginger Molasses, Lemon Wafers, and a Chocolate Chip Cookie with Toffee (my FAVORITE).
