My Fabulous Day at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn Spa Day

If you are looking for a day at the spa, whether you’re a hotel guest at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn or a neighbor/local resident, I highly recommend a visit to The Willomstream Spa at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. The Spa is rated among Travel + Leisure’s top 25 spas. It is located atop an ancient thermal mineral spring so includes a pool with natural spring water, minteral baths, and a Watsu® pool, in addition to the signature facial and massage treatments. 100 Boyes Blvd., Sonoma, California, United States, 95476Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn Spa Day

The main thermal mineral spring pool which is a bit warmer than expected as a result of the mineral springs. On a busy day, this can get quite popular, so plan to arrive by 9:30 or 10:00am to ensure you get prime pool seating and can enjoy a day of R & R before or after your spa treatment.

My pool time essentials. I am pretty obsessed with my Libratone headphones. Lucky for you, as JSF readers, you can save money using the code jsfashionista to receive a 10% discount on any Libratone purchase.  Shop online at Libratone here.  I also cannot live without this Wireless Verizon IPad (thanks Verizon for partnering with me and sharing this great product with me to try). And of course some essential pool side reading, Sonoma & C Magazines.

Cheers to an afternoon of R & R with my friend Meghan at the incredible Fairmont’s Mission Inn & Spa.

Enjoying the delicious Gloria Ferrera Sparkling Wine I was welcomed with in my room.

Snack time at the pool. The guacamole and salsa were delightful. On a hot day, this- paired with some sparkling wine- was really all we needed to fuel our laying out and pre-spa-treatment time.

Within the various pools in the spa, there is a cool dunking shower. I was so hot from laying out at the pool that this was beyond refreshing. Warning it’s extremely cold, so prepare to yell (even though there is a sign asking you not to scream)… It’s pretty hard not to!

The treatment room where I received my 60-minute Rejuvenate Facial. This facial is best described on the the hotel spa website (source Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa website), as “Energize and transform your skin with this high-performance treatment that includes an exfoliating multi-acid peel for the face, neck and décolleté. A Red-LED light and an impulse micro-current help cells rejuvenate, accelerate cell repair, re-educate muscle tone and trigger DNA regeneration. The experience concludes with the infusion of essential nutrients into the skin with cutting-edge transdermal delivery technology.”

The Kerstin Florian products all Fairmont Hotel Spa’s use. I have gotten quite used to these throughout my various Fairmont Hotel Spa visits and I really love them. They leave the skin super soft, silky, and they just have a really rich feel to them.

Thanks to the Fairmont Mission Inn Hotel & Spa for hosting me for the Spa Treatment and lovely day at your pool.
