Cheers to arriving at the fabulous Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa. I have looked forward to this visit for so long and can’t wait to experience this legendary Sonoma Hotel.

The beautiful interior once you step inside. I fell in love with the design here, making me even more excited for my stay.

The clash of warm colors and patterns in the lobby gave a luxurious home feeling. Every detail at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa makes everything that much more beautiful.

Upon checking in, I was greeted with a glass of Gloria Ferrera Sparkling Wine. What a lovely gesture!

I arrived around 4pm and found out that there was a wine tasting for guests in the lobby. What a treat, and it was my friend from Pangloss! They are incredible, read about the delicious Pangloss Food & Wine Pairing at their tasting room.

There was also a cheese cart so guests could create their own cheese plate. Heavenly. I spent a few minutes tasting various options and finally landed on a 3-cheese assortment that I took back to my room with me to enjoy as I settled in.

My Fairmont Mission Suite. It was great how there was a living room area, as well. It makes relaxing so much more comfortable, and the patio deck felt like a dream..

The moment I saw a bath and Le Labo products, I knew I would be enjoying this bath tub later during my stay. Sure enough it was the first spot I went after my evening out. It’s such a treat having a bath tub when I travel since I don’t have one at home.

This reminded me of my recent stay at the Fairmont Claremont Berkeley who also has Le Labo products (which I adore). Boy, do I love staying with Fairmont Hotels!

Pool & Spa Day at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn

Part of getting away to a hotel is the pool and spa time I try my best to take advantage of. Living in San Francisco is amazing, but we don’t really get any super hot summer days. A trip to Sonoma or Napa is perfect for that. During my stay I was up early Friday morning for the gym and then some delicious breakfast.

I later headed to the Spa to relax for the next few hours, which I rarely get to do so this was heavenly. I then enjoyed a facial at the spa which was the perfect conclusion to my lovely stay at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. You can also rent one of their luxurious cabanas to relax in which are decorated so nicely. Talk about a relaxing day at the pool!
