With the holidays quickly approaching, I wanted to share a Holiday Gift Guide for those in your life who enjoy Fashion or Beauty items. My rule of thumb for gifting has always been to only gift something I would want to be gifted or buy myself, so here is a list of a few of my favorite Beauty & Fashion items that not only do I adore using, but also adore gifting. Happy gifting!
Jo Malone London
As you have seen in previous gift guides and blog coverage, I adore Jo Malone London. I got hooked during my retail days in New York when I worked in the Bloomingdale’s Buying office, and the rest was history….
This season, Jo Malone London is sharing a spectacular “Crazy Colourful Christmas” collection, which includes everything from a new scent of the season – Green Almond & Redcurrant (which is available in a cologne and a ceramic striped candle) – to a luxury Advent Calendar. Inspired by clashing colours and cubism, all of this year’s festive packaging was created in collaboration with Jonathan Saunders.
Frances Austen is a brand that has quickly become a favorite fashion staple I adore. This is female owned and operated out of San Francisco and their pieces are made to last, versatile for every occasion, and comprised of biodegradable materials: 100% silk and cashmere. The cashmere yarn is spun by renowned cashmere producer, Carriagi of Italy, before it’s woven into the garments by Johnston’s of Elgin of Scotland. The result? Beautiful, well-intentioned clothing one can feel good about wearing and won’t be saying goodbye to anytime soon.
The reversible VNeck Sweater is one of those items you love so much that you want to buy it for yourself. In my eyes, that makes the perfect gift! Next decision is what color to gift? I suggest the Soft White or the Mauve (shown). Visit Frances Austen to shop and snag your own or if you’re feeling generous snag one and gift it!
As a San Francisco girl, I’ve become a regular at Benefit Cosmetics, not only for their great eye brow service which I use monthly, but also for their other amazing beauty products. This year they have some of the most fabulous gifts any beauty girl would adore. See some of my favorite Benefit gifts below and be sure to snag a few goodies for the beauty lover in your life. I have tried them all (R & D, of course) and they each have some goodies I can’t live without (the mascara, bronzer, eye brow filler…)
The Bundle of Joy
A friend and fellow San Francisco blogger Caroline of Perfect 10 SF recently launched an amazing gifting brand called Bundle of Joy. The idea is to gift new moms items they need while also donating a percentage of proceeds supporting local, small business in the area. What a winning combo! The items you’ll be gifting are items that you may not get at a baby shower, such as, nipple cream, engorgement relief heat packs, organic pads, hand sanitizer, and more… As a San Francisco native, a mother, and a woman with incredible style, Caroline has put together some of the most adorably curated new mom gifts I can imagine. For any of the new parents in your life, gift them The Bundle of Joy. And, as a JSF reader save 10% now through December 31st wuth the code JSF10.
I’ve been a fan of Bobbi Brown cosmetics since I was a young girl and met Bobbi at the Winnetka Book Stall (a local book store where I grew up). I adore all of her products and below are a few great ones I can’t live without which means I also love giving as gifts. These are a few of the limited edition gifts from Bobbi Brown I adore and will be gifting….
Beverly & Bay
I am extremely excited and proud to share another great Holiday Gift Idea from two dear friends of mine, Yasemin and Lizzy, who own beverly & bay. The concept is stylish scarves for chic fashionista’s (like us!) and also for nursing Mother’s. These scarves are 100% organic cotton with a subtle clip to help adjust, so when you’re nursing or pumping and want some privacy you can fasten the scarf closed or leave it open and wear loose and loungy like I like to wear mine. See more about these scarves on the site. My two favorite colors are the black and grey print (shown below), and the blue and pink abstract print, but check out the site for all of the great options available. Happy shopping for these fabulous scarves with tons of functionality and chic style.
This is a sponsored post. Thanks to the brands who participated and shared their fabulous products with me for inclusion in this Holiday Gift Guide. As always, I only write about brands or products I personally adore and support.
