Named after his son, Giovanni Italian Specialties is Tony Gemignani’s newest addition in North Beach, San Francisco. Offering specialty groceries, fresh pasta and small bites, cookbooks, kitchen tools, and they are also a certified KitchenAid retailer. Being a huge fan of Tony’s and some of his other North Beach Restaurant’s, including Tony’s Pizza and Capo’s Pizza (read more about both on my San Francisco Top 10 Pizza post here), I was thrilled to visit Tony’s newest project Giovanni Italian Specialties.  629 Union St. San Francisco, CA, 94133.

I was a happy camper during my visit – not only did I get to enjoy a delicious lunch, but I was also sent home with meatballs, home made pasta, and various pasta sauces to enjoy later. Thank you Tony and the team for spoiling me!

The interior of this culinary destination is beyond adorable. I literally wanted to buy or eat every item in sight!
