Hiking Marin At Rodeo Beach In The Marin Headlands

One of my favorite spots for a hike close to San Francisco is Sausalito’s Fort Cronkite Rodeo Beach. Not only is this beach great because of the many hiking trails but there’s also surfing, beach visitors relaxing on the nice sand beach, and near-bye the Marine Rescue Center. The beauty of Rodeo Beach is it’s about 10 minutes once you cross the Golden Gate Bridge with ocean views overlooking San Francisco (the Ocean Beach side of the city).  I have taken almost every out-of-town visitor here for a hike and everyone falls in love immediately.  Fort Cronkite, Rodeo Beach.
