For those of you foodies, like me you’ll be thrilled to hear about an upcoming James Beard Foundation event you must check out. Celebrating its fourth year, the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Tour is a national culinary program that takes place in ten cities, including Los Angeles, over six weekends each fall.
The upcoming Los Angeles Event which takes place Friday, September 23rd – Saturday, September 24th. The cocktail, tasting reception and dinner will take place Friday, September 23rd from 6:00pm – 10:00pm at Vibiana. See more event details here and BUY TICKETS here.
Taste America All-Star and James Beard Award-winner Scott Conant of Impero Caffè, New York will collaborate with Local Star Curtis Stone of Gwen and Pastry Chef Hedy Goldsmith of Sweet Hedy to create a one-of-a-kind four-course dining experience. This unique partnering of culinary greats will also feature a tasting reception, where Host Chef Neal Fraser of Redbird, Nyesha Arrington of Leona, Josef Centeno Orsa & Winston, Jeremy Fox of Rustic Canyon, and Bruce Kalman of Union will dazzle guests with their individual culinary styles.
Weekend festivities will also include in-store celebrity chef appearances, cooking demonstrations, book signings, tastings and more at Sur La Table. Talent including Scott Conant and Suzanne Goin will be at the Sur La Table Event Saturday.
