My Lovely Stay At The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa

During my recent adventure with Toyota from San Francisco to Arizona’s Spring Training (read the full trip coverage here), I had a stop on my road trip in Ojai, California. For as long as I can remember, the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa was a Southern California Hotel I had heard was a must visit. This was the perfect trip to visit this incredible Inn & Spa while en route to Arizona with Toyota’s Grand Slam Spring Training Blogger Trip.

The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa

As soon as I arrived to The Ojai Valley Inn, I realized that this spa really does have a zen feel to it. As you enter the lobby, the check in and reception area is quite calming and feels really intimate, kind of like a small boutique hotel. Past the lobby, walking outside to my room, I stumbled upon their gorgeous gardens, water fountains, and the stunning hotel pool overlooking the golf course. Do you get the vibe that I am talking about? It is a combination of a luxury high-end boutique hotel with a golf course, spa, and plenty of zen, R & R vibes where ever you turn. Yes, pretty heavenly upon first impression and the experience continued to get better as I discovered my room, the spa, and my dining for that evening.

Upon arriving to my room, I was pleasantly greeted with a cheese plate and some treats. I really adore hotels that welcome guests with small touches, such as this. After driving for 8 hours from San Francisco, this was the perfect treat as I settled into my room and started to relax.

I decided to spend a few hours at the stunning Spa– this is something I recommend every guest to do. You can either get a spa treatment or pay $75 for a day pass and have access to the spa, the spa pool, the sauna, steam room, and the beautiful facilities as long as you want. One of my favorite things to do while visiting a hotel is experience the spa. It really adds that extra touch of relaxing and unplugging, and sets the vibe that I am on vacation and not in my day to day busy life.
