Did you know there is a fabulous acupuncture studio in San Francisco, Modern Acupuncture located in Cow Hollow on charming Fillmore Street? They just celebrated their one year anniversary and after visiting and experiencing their treatments I see why it’s become such a popular destination in San Francisco and also in Marin at their Corte Madera location.

The Zen Lounge where all the magic happens! This really is beyond calming, peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend planning a visit when you have a bit of time after to chill out and not rush on to something immediately after.

This is where guests sit to experience their treatments. I love how roomy and comfortable the chairs are. They also are massage chairs so while you’re enjoying your acupuncture treatment you can enjoy a massage chair. Total perfection, right?

All smiles pre-treatment. I’ve been doing acupuncture for about 5 years now so unlike some new to it that are nervous I am fear-free. For those unfamiliar and hesitant it feels like a soft tingle (it should NOT hurt unless a sensitive spot is hit) which is very rare. The benefits are amazing. I was treating lower back pains for about two years and with regular acupuncture (once to twice a week) I saw pain go away and mobility increase. It really is a miracle worker and something I truly endorse and do myself.

One of the best parts about Modern Acupuncture is they offer regular acupuncture AND  Cosmetic acupuncture which can help with wrinkles, fine lines and aging. It’s also an alternative to Botox so whenever I get my acupuncture at Modern Acupuncture I do both now, regular acupuncture to help with my back pain or just for overall wellness AND cosmetic acupuncture. It’s really the best of both worlds!
