Now that I’m a homeowner again the first thing on my to do list was of course hosting a Housewarming party!! I started with what I know best, the food and the wine. I decided a Sunday Funday would be the perfect time for a party as it’s perfect for us San Franciscans who love a good day activity and it can be relaxed and leisurely starting with brunch, in this case Bagels & Bubbles leading to a relaxed afternoon with friends sipping beer, wine and concluding with Fried Chicken and more Champagne!…. See some of my party essentials below and what I recommend you include in your next Party.

Caraccioli Cellars Sparkling Wine

It really is true, there is something so fun about hearing the cork pop when you open Champagne or Sparkling Wine. So one of the first party essentials in my list is great Sparkling Wine or Champagne. Lucky for my guests I recently went on a Sommelier Trip to Santa Lucia Highlands (if you don’t know where that is it’s located between San Francisco and Monterey) with some of the highest scoring Pinot Noir and Chardonnays in California. Since Pinot and Chardonnay make Sparkling Wine/Champagne, this region makes incredible Sparkling Wine including one of my favorite’s Caraccioli Cellars. A Magnum on ice is a party essential. I recommend the Caraccioli Cellars Brut or Sparkling Rose.

It’s party time, for a Sunday brunch a Mimosa Bar was a huge hit!!! And these adorable signs also added some fun to the party table. They’re from The Paper Source and are super reasonable and great for entertaining.

A fully stocked bar is always nice to have, although at my parties the wine is always heavily flowing so I don’t think anyone took advantage of the cocktail options!

Quite possibly the cutest housewarming gift I received was this box of goodies from my dear friend Kat. She’s from the South and sure knows how to share a thoughtful, lovely and delicious Housewarming Gift. Thanks for all the goodies Kat. I’m inspired to get my gifting game on par with yours!

Cameron Hughes Wine

In addition to sparkling wine, every great party has still wine. As you’ve read endlessly, I’m a Chardonnay and Pinot lover so that’s obviously what I’m serving guests at my party. Cameron Hughes Wine has become my go to wine for gifts, drinking at home, really everything, so I of course stocked up on two of their recent wines I tasted at a recent Lot 616 party I attended. Music with Libratone Speakers

It’s pretty obvious that every party must have music and an incredible brand I have become a huge fan of, Libratone Speakers was our source of music.  Libratone makes various wireless speakers which create balanced, rich sound and are very edgy and modern in look so add a nice design modern element to any home.  I have a few in my house, one in my living room, one in my bedroom and another in my kitchen and they’re the best!  They also have a fabulous Mini speaker, the Libratone Too Speaker which I use for travel. Another foodie essential for a party is of course yummy food! I think Champagne and Fried Chicken pair lovely together so that’s what I served. I recommend checking out Proposition Chicken’s Fried Chicken which is incredible. They cater so it’s super perfect and easy for parties and events and they’ll even deliver it to your house.
