The charming set up of each table. The Founder of Blood Root are Kelly & Noah Dorrance who you may recognize from Reeve Wines, another spectacular brand they own and also from their former brand Banshee (which they co-founded and have since sold). They have the best taste in branding, decor, wines, really everything. Read more about their sister brand Reeve Wines and be sure to plan a visit to their gorgeous Dry Creek Valley Winery. Trust me!

The first wine in the flight is the Blanc de Gris which was spectacular. It’s super dry and light and just LOVELY!

Blood Root Wines offers a fabulous flight (for $20) or wines by the glass. Both times I’ve visited I’ve enjoyed the flight as I love their line up of wines so then you get to try more than just a glass of the same varietal. I am really loving their Chardonnay (and their Rose, Pinot Noir…. ok everything).

The General Manager, Jason Alexander who’s actually an old industry pal I know from San Francisco and all the time I’ve spent at State Bird Provisions. This really is a small community of Culinary & Wine friend, I love it!

 

Even my little pup Ernie loves Blood Root (which is dog friendly) at least outside. She really makes friends everywhere!
