The amazing happy hour from 4:30 – 6:30pm. These have some of the best cocktails I’ve experienced in San Francisco (see my entire Top 10 San Francisco Cocktail list here), plus amazing small plates ranging from $4 – $10. Note, you can also order form the full menu upstairs (as we did) and enjoy some of the non bar bites as well.
Me and Chef Roman Petry. He was so sweet as my visit was really just to experience the happy hour and what you see below was him wanting me to experience some of his food. Clearly, his food was incredible as I loved it all, and suggest you go try it for yourself!
The incredible Crispy Tacos with Shrimp and Scallop Ceviche Who would have thought you’d have tacos at a Japanese Restaurant?
Wagyu Sirloin with Grilled Bone Marrow and Spicy Sweet Garlic Soy. This was beyond tendy and flavorful I loved it!
Tiger Shrimp with Wasabi Pea Dust and Sweet Chili Aioli. Also yummy!
Wagyu Sirloin with Grilled Bone Marrow and Spicy Sweet Garlic Soy. This was the perfect pairing as the Beef was incredible flavorful and juicy and the Bone Marrow was also amazing! I’ve become a huge Bone Marrow fan since this experience.
I was told this Sweet Corn with Butter and Soy which was life changing and I will confirm that is the truth. I have no idea what the secret ingredient is but it’s incredible. Be SURE to order this when you visit. It’s the most amazing corn I’ve ever had.
The delicious spread I experienced during my Happy Hour visit. So much for just cocktails it’s hard to resist the food here as it’s delicious and they have so many options on the happy hour menu that are all under $10. Go crazy and try as much as you can! Or you can order off the Roka Akor Restaurant menu (as we did for some of the larger plates).
The Premium Sashimi Platter. Just looking at this platter you can understand how over the top it was. Well it tasted just as fabulous as it looks!
The Dessert Platter with every possible dessert you can imagine. I loved the fresh fruits, the chocolate fondant cake, the donuts, ice cream. Basically everything on the platter was fabulous!
