Presidio Social Club – Pastry Chef Rene Cruz is offering his pies and cakes to-go this holiday season. Christmas desserts include: a Coconut Cream Pie, Bourbon Pecan Pie, and Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie (all $45), and a Chocolate Peppermint Cake ($80). Whipped cream is also available for $5/pint. Roka Akor – Executive Chef Roman Petry of Roka Akor (801 Montgomery St.) invites guests to gather around the open-charcoal robata grill and celebrate the holidays this season with a special tasting menu. In addition to serving a full menu, Roka Akor will offer a five-course dinner that is designed to be shared and served for a minimum of two people. Highlighted courses include Escolar Tataki with White Asparagus and Yuzu, Heirloom Beet Salad with Shiso Crème Fraiche, Ruby Mustard Greens and Lime, Chef Selection Seasonal Sashimi Platter, and Toro Roll with Green Onion and Fresh Wasabi, among others.
