Incredible dining, luxury hotels with fabulous guest accommodations, charming shops and local destinations, and, of course, Wine Country. Best Dinner Date Outfits
I’m frequently asked what to wear or what I pack for a trip so I’m sharing my Best Dinner Date Outfits below. This is constantly evolving throughout various seasons so take a look back in another season to see what I share!
Arandas Restaurant
The newly established Arandas in Healdsburg has quickly become one of my top picks for Best Mexican Restaurants in Healdsburg thanks to its beautiful interior, fabulous food, and fantastic hospitality.
Don’t miss their dynamic happy hour from Monday to Friday, 4-6pm, featuring $5 margaritas that perfectly complement the vibrant flavors of their menu. Enjoy your meal on the beautiful patio space, where every dish tells a story, and every moment adds to an adventure worth sharing. Visit Arandas in downtown Healdsburg for a culinary journey like no other.
Baci Restaurant
One of the most adored restaurants in Healdsburg by locals and tourists alike (after they visit they fall in love) is Baci Restaurant. It has a super intimate quaint setting and is owned by Lisbeth (my favorite Norwegian in Healdsburg) and her husband Shari (the Chef). Plan a visit early in advance as their reservations book up but the food is incredible, service is exceptional and before departing you’ll be booking your next visit, trust me! 336 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448
Chef Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen
Within California, and specifically Napa and Healdsburg, Chef Charlie Palmer is quite a legend. Not only because of his acclaimed Dry Creek Kitchen Restaurant and Napa’s Harvest Table Restaurant but also because of his involvement in the incredible Hotel Healdsburg, read more about The Hotel Healdsburg here. He’s also adored for all the great things he does for his local community, including fundraising events such as The Project Zin, and the most recent event I attended Pigs & Pinot (stay tuned for coverage of that event on the blog soon). Dry Creek Kitchen is Chef Charlie’s high-end restaurant within the Hotel Healdsburg and it will blow you away. With incredible service, a delicious culinary experience, and a beautiful setting, this is a spot in Healdsburg not to be missed. Hotel Healdsburg, 317 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448
I love a restaurant welcome that includes sparkling wine from Iron Horse. Dry Creek Kitchen has their own Iron Horse Cuvee which was beautiful!

What to Wear in Wine Country?
Everyone always asks me what to wear when they’re wine tasting or visiting Wine Country. To help with the planning I’ve created a guide of some of my favorite wine country essentials below when planning a trip to Wine Country!
Guiso Restaurant
Another super small and intimate gem in Healdsburg is Guiso Latin Fusion. They have super creative, flavorful Latin cuisine and the best part is it’s family-owned and it seems everyone is related to the owners. It’s beyond adorable with fabulous food, super genuine thoughtful service and an adorable setting.
Happy Hour at Hotel Healdsburg: The Dry Creek Kitchen Menu
The Hotel Healdsburg offers a fabulous happy hour daily from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. which I recently enjoyed and fell in love with. The food is from the Dry Creek Kitchen team and they offer great cocktails, wine & beer at happy hour prices plus amazing food. When I was there, we enjoyed live music as well! Be sure to check this out when you’re visiting Healdsburg. Hotel Healdsburg, 25 Matheson St. Healdsburg, CA.
The delicious tartare on the happy hour menu. Also be sure to order the Charlie Palmer Burger, another favorite of mine!
The fried chicken we enjoyed during our happy hour visit!
Hazel Hill at The Montage Healdsburg
Hazel Hill is centrally located a few minutes from downtown Healdsburg and tucked among 258 acres of Montage vineyards. This beautiful and upscale farm-to-table restaurant located at Montage Healdsburg Hotel offers seasonal, California-influenced French cuisine for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. While enjoying delicious food and an exquisite selection of wine, guests are immersed in views of wine country as far as the eye can see. I highly recommend this lovely spot! 100 Montage Way, Healdsburg, CA 95448
Lo & Behold
Lo & Behold is a new local hotspot that opened in 2022 and is amazing. This is a great brunch spot because it is a super laid-back and fun atmosphere. Expect great cocktails, yummy bites, and the spot to be in downtown Healdsburg. I recommend the Fried Chicken and Queso Dip (with extra potatoes you’ll want more). 214 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448.

Molti Amici
The newest addition to my Healdsburg Best Restaurant is Molti Amici. With a gorgeous setting, amazing team and fabulous food, Molti Amici Healdsburg has already emerged as a new favorite in town bustling each time I’ve visited. Reminder to make a reservation prior to your visit (as I recommend with ALL Healdsburg hot spots).
They arrived in the summer of 2023 and me and everyone in town have fallen in love. Curious what to expect, see more below about this chic, fun restaurant with amazing food, great service, a bumping vibe and amazing cocktails and local wines.
When dining in the back patio and bocce court area, guests are welcomed by a fun, cheerful vibe with yellow and white striped umbrellas. The outdoor dining room and interior dining room are adorned with light green and white striped cushions, giving a fun Hampton’s, beachy vibe to it. I love the decor and it truly feels so fun and inviting, yet casual, very neighborhoody and not stuffy.

SingleThread Farm Restaurant & Inn
As one of the most anticipated openings of 2016, SingleThread Farm Restaurant & Inn is truly like nothing you can imagine. In fact, they just received their third Michelin Star. I recently visited for dinner and a day time tour of the Restaurant, the Inn, and their spectacular rooftop; sure enough, I was blown away. It’s hard to put into words until you experience it yourself. However, I can best describe it as a culinary destination combining the best food, wine, and service in one of the most beautiful spaces in California. I will be writing a full blog post about the amazing 11-course meal I experienced, as well as the background of the owners, Kyle and Katina Connaughton. Stay tuned for that post very soon…131 North St, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
The fabulous couple behind SingleThread Farm Restaurant Inn – Katina and Kyle Connaughton. I’ve met them both and they’re so humble, friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly so talented and passionate about what they do. They have found their calling!
The Matheson
The Matheson Healdsburg is a tri-level restaurant that reflects the spirit of Healdsburg. My dear friend, the fabulous Chef Dustin Valette, and partner Craig Ramsey are the ones behind this new hot spot. The Matheson honors Dustin’s great-grandfather who had a bakery on the Matheson site in the 1930s. You’re in great hands at the Matheson with their delicious menu made from locally sourced products, craft cocktails, sushi bar, and garden lounge. Read more about the Matheson here and Dustin’s other culinary success, Valette here.

This amazing multi-course dinner is priced at $125 and is worth every penny. We started off with a bottle of Dom Pérignon which was the perfect way to kick off the meal. It’s one of my favorite champagnes to have with a meal. For more champagnes, check out my blog The Best Champagne Bottles I Adore.
