The Best Bars in Healdsburg Guide

If you’re planning a visit to Healdsburg, after a day of wine tasting you will probably be craving a delicious cocktail (I know I am after wine all day) so check out The Best Bars in Healdsburg Guide. Let me know if I missed anyone and, as always, there is no order to this list, they are all incredible.

Coyote Sonoma

Best chill brewery vibe. If you’re looking for great food, wine, and beer in a super casual setting, Coyote Sonoma is the spot to go to. They have something for everyone and the food is delicious. The tasting room and taproom are also great if you’re in the mood for great tastings with great service. On Wednesday’s they offer trivia which Ernie and I love to attend. It’s very fun, relaxed and a chill bar like / brewery setting. 44 Mill St, Healdsburg, CA 95448

Coyote Sonoma

Me and Ernie at Coyote Sonoma for trivia night! I love that this bar is dog-friendly!

Elephant in the Room

Looking for a cool, super casual place with great live music, wine, and beer? Elephant in the Room is the place for you. This local bar is perfect to wind down and have a great time with friends and drinks won’t cost you a fortune, they have beer and wine for under $10 (which can be hard to find in Healdsburg). 177 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448

Lo & Behold

Best craft cocktails & casual bites. Lo & Behold is brand new (as of January 2022) and the town has been long awaiting this from original Duke’s Founders Laura Sanfilippo and Tara Heffernon who are partnering with Chef Sean Raymond Kelley. The scene is super cool with a laid-back vibe yet also a lively scene you don’t want to miss. Expect great cocktails, yummy bites, and the spot to be in downtown Healdsburg. 214 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448.

John & Zeke’s

Best late-night local bar. It is not a trip to Healdsburg without a late-night stop at John & Zeke’s. This is for sure a local scene which is part of what I like about it. I usually have a Bud Light (my beer of choice), play pool, and if I’m hungry, have one of their hot dogs. It sounds random but a hot dog and a bag of chips can really hit the spot. 420 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg, CA 95448

Healdsburg Tasting Rooms
Little Saint Healdsburg

Hottest new destination in town. Little Saint Healdsburg is Healdsburg’s newest restaurant. Plant-based food has never tasted so good as it does at The Little Saint Healdsburg. The freshest of ingredients from their own gardens are served right to your plate. But they also do some of the most delicious cocktails. The mixologist team here is beyond talented, I can tell this will be a new go-to for me whether for coffee, their chocolate chip cookie, lunch, dinner, or even a cocktail or two! Read more about my trip to Little Saint on their Opening Night here. 25 North St, Healdsburg, CA 95448.

The Matheson Healdsburg Rooftop Bar & Main Level Bar

Best rooftop vibe & best margaritas in town (ground floor bar by Andy). The Matheson Restaurant has just had its grand opening this past year in 2021, making a huge mark in the Healdsburg community. Chef Dustin Vallette, that I have had the privilege of getting to know, along with Chef Craig Ramsey, have truly outdone themselves. 106 Matheson Street Healdsburg, CA 95448.

The Matheson Healdsburg

How delicious does this cocktail look! You have to try their rooftop cocktail bar, it’s the place to be, especially in the summer.

I always have the best time at the Matheson, especially when I get to see Chef Dustin, his dad Bob and Co-owner Craig Ramsey.

Marine Layer Wines

Although Marine Layer Wines is a Wine Tasting Room they have an amazing bar which is open for by the glass from 5:00 -7:00 pm. I highly recommend swinging by for a glass of wine and enjoying their gorgeous setting, great service and amazing hospitality.

 Willis Seafood & Raw Bar

Willis Seafood & Raw Bar is a fabulous spot for both a meal or just a drink at the bar. The bar tenders are AMAZING and they make some of the best craft cocktails in Healdsburg.
