The Best Luxury Seattle Hotels to Visit

As you all know, Seattle is one of my favorite places to visit.  My sister has lived there for 20+ years so I’m fortunate to visit a few times a year and really think of it as a second home. Although I usually stay with Lise, I do get treated to hotel stays occasionally and over the years have stayed at the best of the best luxury hotels in Seattle.   Follow along for The Best Luxury Seattle Hotels To Visit.

What to pack for a Winter Trip to Seattle

Fairmont Olympic Hotel

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle is really quite the gem especially taking into account its rich history. It balances sophistication with modern luxury in the best way.

Check out my blog, My Stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, to see more about my stay.

Looking for a tea spot in Seattle? Try the Tea at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. I had a blast taking my nieces there for the Holidays.

My lovely suite. I learned during my visit that a few years ago the Fairmont Olympic Hotel underwent a huge renovation where they made 50% of the rooms suites. Talk about a true luxury experience.

The lovely welcome surprise and note from Kara, the PR Director. Such a thoughtful gesture it really makes you feel so welcome during a stay.

Four Seasons Seattle Hotel

I am always on the hunt for a fabulous luxury hotel, and Four Seasons Seattle Hotel is one of THE BEST. I have stayed here a few times. Most recently, during COVID and it was such an easy and safe experience. Four Seasons Seattle is a fantastic place to go if you’re in need of some time away from home.  On top of the incredible hotel they have a killer restaurant located within I adore, The Goldfinch Tavern led by Seattle Culinary GOD Ethan Stowell. See all of Chef Ethan’s Restaurants here and read more about The Goldfinch Restaurant here.

Read about my Four Seasons Seattle pre-COVID stay in my Four Seasons Seattle blog post here. 99 Union St, Seattle, WA 98101.

Four Seasons

Four Seasons Seattle knows what they’re doing when it comes to luxury. That is exactly why they’re one of my first picks when deciding where to stay in Washington.

Four Seasons Seattle

Since this was during the holidays, Four Seasons Seattle had their beautiful Christmas tree glowing in the lobby. Even my nieces loved their stay at the Four Seasons Seattle Hotel.

The rooms at Four Seasons Seattle are modern, spacious, and cozy enough to make you feel at home.

Also, what better way to wind down than with the fabulous Four Seasons Seattle Spa?

The State Hotel

The State Hotel is a great boutique hotel in downtown Seattle literally a BLOCK from Pike Place Market. The location is killer. The vibe is super modern, hip, and recently updated as it’s only been open a year or so. The staff was beyond accommodating and I also enjoyed their Restaurant, Ben Paris. I love the lobby. It’s so inviting that it makes you just want to grab a book and glass of wine, sit down and relax and never move!

I stayed in a Queen room with views of The Puget Sound and Pike Place market. The room has super cool modern furniture and stunning views. They’re not the biggest but perfect for a short overnight stay. They also had the most amazing drip coffee (you know I’m a coffee lover).

I loved the bright modern bathroom with the cutest sweatshirt robes I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. You know I always get excited about the little treats and surprises in a hotel room.

An amazing amenity is the roof deck with views of Pike Place Market, The Puget Sound and Seattle. This hotel has it all!

Thompson Hotel

The first time I visited the Thompson Hotel, I didn’t know what to expect. After concluding my stay, I highly recommend this incredible hotel. I also stayed at The Cape, in Cabo San Lucas which was incredible, read more here about The Cape, A Thompson Hotel. 110 Stewart St, Seattle, WA 98101

The Thompson Hotel is also just steps from Pike Place Market. Check out some great Seattle Restaurants here.
