Lucky for me, I had a very busy May visiting Mexico twice. The first time I was in Puerto Vallarta for a dear friend Jaimie’s wedding where I spent a few days after in Punta Mita, at the incredible St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, followed by a visit to Cabo San Lucas staying at the new boutique Cape, A Thompson Hotel with my college girlfriends and their husbands. I felt like a very lucky girl to get to visit Mexico not once but twice during May. It’s months like this that make me thankful for having my own business allowing me the flexibility to travel when once in a life time opportunities arise, and of course where there is wifi so I can work and keep in touch with my clients daily.
The Cape is a boutique hotel within Cabo San Lucas approximately 25 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from town. One of the amazing things I loved about this hotel was that you were enclosed in singular beachfront retreat where every room and vantage point overlook El Arco and the Bahía San Lucas horizon. Intuitively interwoven within the natural landscape surrounding the Monuments Beach point break, The Cape is a place to revel in the heat of the moment.
The architecture is incredible designed by visionary Mexico City architect Javier Sanchez in a relaxed 1960s Southern California-meets-Baja aesthetic at this luxury boutique hotel. Combining the incredible location, views, architecture and chic Thompson Hotel amenities this is the perfect boutique hotel for a high-end traveler enjoying luxury in a non stuffy setting with a cool, fresh modern vibe. See more about this incredible hotel below. Also note when we visited for every 4th night a 5th night was free. Be sure to inquire and see if there are any fabulous deals when you plan your trip. Carretera Transpeninsular Km 5, Misiones del Cabo, 23455 Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico.
The deluxe king room I stayed in with an incredible patio overlooking the beach, pool & bay. This room was so modern and sexy I loved it
I always adore a personalized welcome to a hotel. Especially when it comes with tequila and shot glasses. What an authentic Mexican welcome. Thank you Cape Hotel team.
I was on the 2nd floor which a larger terrace than the rooms above. So if you want the outside bed and a more spacious terrace be sure to request the second floor when you book your room.
The rooftop bar. This was the perfect spot for pre dinner drinks. The views are incredible so is the amazing setting and ambiance. There is sometimes live music which I adored.
Views of the ocean front Spa Treatment rooms. Read more about my ocean front massage this week on the blog!
Thanks to the Cape Hotel for collaborating with me and hosting me to your incredible hotel. I loved my time in Cabo San Lucas, especially getting to enjoy The Cape Hotel and your amazing amenities, property and attentive staff.
