California: San Francisco’s Best Sushi Tataki Restaurant

San Francisco’s Freshest & Tastiest Sushi

Tataki Sushi & Sake Bar

I discovered Tataki Sushi Bar two years ago when I first moved into Pacific Heights. I heard that it was a great spot for delicious fresh sushi that was farmed with sustainable farming practices. It sounded like a dream come true. The only problem is if you arrive past 7pm or so to the 15-20 seat restaurant expect to wait! The restaurant is quite small, part of the charm so plan ahead and go early, or grab a drink next door at Wild Hare while you’re waiting. Another option is to call ahead and carry out.  This is what I do most of the time and I love it. You’ll see below my experiences dining in and carryout out Tataki! Check it out I,  promise you’ll enjoy it!! 2815 California StSan Francisco, CA. 415-931-1182.

P.S. A tip I’m going to share with you is that Tataki Sushi Bar has a fabulous happy hour menu served until 7pm (note it’s dine in ONLY). Menu includes the below.

Happy Hour Roll Menu $3.00 – $4.50: Crunchy California Roll, Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll, Arctic Char/Avocado Roll, Sweet Potato Tempura Roll & Mixed Vegetable Roll . Happy Hour Drinks Menu $2.50 – $5.00: Select Beers & Sangria
