After hearing about Gary Farrell for a few years and enjoying their wines at various wine tasting events I was thrilled when I finally got the chance to visit recently. Arriving to Gary Farrell. After driving up a long steep driveway I was welcomed by the below spectacular views. This may be one of the highest wineries I’ve visited in Healdsburg with some of the most magical views and magical wines!

Wine tasting for one please! Even though I was tasting solo (which is actually just as fun if the wine and the experience are amazing) I knew I was in excellent hands and this would be a visit to remember…

Starting with some Chardonnay, which always makes me a happy girl.

The recently renovated tasting room was decorated gorgeously. I had never been before to see the old style but visiting after, I can assure you it’s a beautiful setting you will for sure enjoy. Plus, their wines are to be taken seriously sourcing grapes from some of the most well known vineyards in the area.

As a huge huge lover of Durell Vineyards, enjoying wines made from their grapes from Three Sticks (read more about Three Sticks Wines and their stunning Sonoma Adobe here) and also Dunstan Wines, I was thrilled to taste a Durell Vineyard Chardonnay at Gary Farrell. I also learned that Bill Price of Price Wines also owns Gary Farrell which explains why they’re able to have access to the amazing, Durell Vineyards grapes (Durell Vineyards is owned by Bill Price) as well.

Such a beautiful presentation. Not only the spectacular sweeping hillside views but the lovely literature and the light cheese and nuts snack shared with guests.
