The Incredible Audi on Demand Service You Must Try

Audi On Demand

Audi on Demand

Any one of you San Francisco readers will be thrilled to learn about a new service, currently available only in San Francisco, called Audi on Demand. Essentially it’s a luxurious rental car service offered directly through Audi for residents of San Francisco.  So, how does it work? Read below for full details.

Seamless Mobile Booking

Choose your Audi on demand vehicle and make a reservation online or right from your iPhone using the Audi on demand app.

Concierge delivery of your Audi on Demand right to your door

It almost sounds too good to be true, but that is correct. The Audi on Demand concierge will deliver your car right to your door step. After they arrive, they will get you settled in and help you acclimate to the car, the features (such as wifi in each Audi vehicle), and ensure that you are ready to operate your Audi vehicle before they leave you alone with your car.  I was a bit nervous with my vehicle so I took a lap around the block, ensuring I felt comfortable driving the car, understanding the various buttons before I was read to go with my Audi TT Roadster Convertible.

My Audi Roadster TT delivery by Anders. He was great, he spent about 30 minutes with me getting me comfortable in the car, getting my wi-fi set up, practicing the top up and down, and even going around the block with me so I felt comfortable driving when he eventually left me alone with my new set of wheels.

The beautiful yet sleek, modern and sporty interior design. You really had everything you needed on the steering wheel which made it super as a driver to focus on the road and also adjust music, place a call and have most everything you needed at your steering wheel fingertips or on the consul showing the speed and driving mode.

The interior of the car was just as beautiful as the exterior. The doors are lined in this suede, stunning camel color. The Audi design team really nailed it with this car. The speakers are Bang & Olufsen and is incredible even with the top down on a the windy 101. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the phone system (also with the top down). I was making calls from the highway with no problem hearing and an over all amazing call experience.

The “Virtual cockpit,” as Anders described it during my orientation training. This cockpit is incredible. Your iPhone can also connect  via Bluetooth so you can see when you have new messages (which are read to you out loud by the car, not by the driver driving). You are not able to reply back (thank god, what a great safety feature), but you can access your texts, emails, music, and other apps through your IPhone or other blue tooth device. Incredible!!

After my orientation and being left along with the car, I was ready to take it for a cruise. First stop was a little drive around the city. It was super fun driving around in a convertible in 80 degree weather. I felt like a kid at a toy store, I was enjoying this that much! Thanks again Audi for this amazing car and sharing the Audi on Demand experience with me!

I made a quick stop at The Battery SF before heading out of town.

Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and having so much fun driving. I think I may have been a race car driver in a former life. I just really enjoy driving fast, luxurious cars!

A mandatory stop as I departed San Francisco for wine country at the look-out point. I really scored on this parking spot with the perfect Golden Gate Bridge backdrop.

Cruising around Healdsburg in this sporty car. As someone who really enjoys driving, this car was incredible. It really handled the road well, without slipping or losing traction on some of the curvier turns. I loved how smoothly it drove and the fun convertible aspect of the Audi Roadster TT.

During my weekend in Wine Country, I visited Lambert Bridge Winery and enjoyed a delicious Food & Wine pairing (don’t worry, when you are a wine writer you spit during these experiences so there is no drinking and driving) with Lambert Bridge Wines & Spoonbar eats. It was fabulous. More to come on the blog about this curated culinary and wine tasting experience.
