While spending my second Christmas in Seattle visiting my sister Lise and her husband Andy (and their two adorable daughters), I decided it would be fun take my oldest niece, Amelia, to the Fairmont Seattle for their Holiday Tea. This would be her first big girl tea party and the perfect date with Auntie Em. See more of this amazing afternoon we had together below. If you’re curious what the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is like, read about my stay there earlier this year on the blog here.
The girls were super excited for the visit to the Fairmont Seattle to see the teddy bear suite and experience the holiday tea. Really, the holiday tea was just for me and Amelia as we were worried Libby may get too antsy during the 45 – 60 minute experience… see below how that plan turned out!
Amelia was super excited as we headed into Holiday Tea in the Georgian Room at The Fairmont Seattle.
Children’s Tea is available for those ages 6 – 12 at $39.
Visiting the tea table to smell the options and pick out our tea for the afternoon holiday tea experience.
What a spectacular Champagne Bar! I want it all.
When in doubt, a glass of Moet Chandon never disappoints!
Amelia ready for our tea to begin. She was a bit hard to photograph (toddlers don’t love the camera so much), but this was one of the best shots I got!
We had a surprise visit from Amelia’s little sister Libby who joined for the last half of our tea. She loved the hot chocolate that Amelia had ordered and was thrilled to join us!
Libby, Lise (my sister and their mom), and Amelia. Talk about a festive ladies afternoon tea. I could not have asked for better company and the opportunity to share this fabulous experience with the girls for their first afternoon tea.
Libby was so excited about the sweets arriving she couldn’t keep her hands off the plate! I never realized how hard it is to get food pictures with kids when they are unable to keep their hands off the delicious food.
The amazing sandwich, sweets, and scone presentation.
Enjoying the festive Gingerbread House in the lobby of The Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
Thanks to the Fairmont Seattle for hosting me and my nieces for this amazing Christmas Eve Holiday Tea.
