Arriving at Alejandro Bulgheroni Winery and welcomed with a lovely Rose and views of their vineyards. Until I was invited to visit by my friend Michael Ploetz to visit, I wasn’t familiar with this winery. Boy am I happy I got to know them. See more about my fabulous visit below.
Views of the Winery where I would enjoy my seated tasting with Michael tasting through Alejandro Bulgheroni Wines.
The line up of wines we would be tasting. They’re all Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley made from various vineyards such as the well known Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Las Piedras in addition to their estate vineyard Alejandro Bulgheroni Estates located on this property (note their estate is a few doors down from Meadowood located in St. Helena).
Overall I found the wines to be extremely elegant, beautiful and very well rounded with just the right amount of tannins to age nicely but not be too overpowering and in your case. I do appreciate beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon Wines, however, not the overly big and in your face style more measured and delicate as these wines were.
The wines are made by Consulting Winemaker Philippe Melka and Michell Roland. Read more about the winemaking team on their website here.
Cheers to this lovely visiting catching up with my friend Michael and learning about these beautiful wines from Alejandro Bulgheroni Winery, Napa Valley.
