The French Laundry
Every visit to this amazing Michelin Star restaurant has been unforgettable. That’s right I’ve been lucky to have dined with them twice! I am always treated the best here and each time I am left speechless by the delicious food.

Chef’s Tasting Menu
Everything here is so detailed and personalized to each individual experience. My birthday dinner was no exception, I felt spoiled with this amazing experience! The French Laundry Restaurant is the place to go for any special occasion you may be celebrating!
The lovely Anton who’s not only my friend but was the Maitre’d at The French Laundry (TFL) during my multiple visits. He’s now moved on and I bet he’s missed immensely at TFL.
Each course prepared here is done so with so much detail and care. All while tasting absolutely delicious… This was a Lobster Course (yes please) which was as delicious as it looks.
It isn’t a meal at The French Laundry without some amazing wine to accompany the spectacular courses.
Our wine glass was never left unfilled, these complimented each of the courses so well. This 2014 Cobb Vineyards Rice-Spivak Vineyards Pinot Noir is very sentimental. The first time I visited TFL I ordered this as I had just been to Cobb Vineyards the day prior tasting this Pinot Noir with Winemaker Ross Cobb. As I said, TFL truly had not only the best food but incredible wines.

Ending the course with these assortments of truffles is just the right way of cleansing the palette.
Behind the Scenes
After my birthday dinner I was lucky to head to the kitchen to see the team making the magical meals outside. It is an extremely delicate process taking place that is incredibly to witness first-hand.
Me and the only and only Chef Thomas Keller. Believe it or not, this was my first time meeting him and it was worth the wait. He was extremely friendly, welcoming and cooperative with my picture requests (which is nice as not all Chefs are). A dream of mine would be to interview him for the blog. I think I was on Cloud 9 enjoying the Birthday fun I forgot to ask…
This dessert tray is everything. Look at those vivid incredible colors.
Seeing all this food prepared really adds another layer to the traditional culinary experience. I love being able to learn more about the process from the chef’s themselves.
Cheers to an amazing Birthday Dinner at The French Laundry. I already can’t wait to come back!
