I had the pleasure of attending the annual Project Zin Event again this year which is hosted by Chef Charlie Palmer & Vintner Clay Mauritson. Project Zin is an incredible event where all of the proceeds go to Down Syndrome Connection Bay Area in support of Clay’s Son Brady who has down syndrome.

Event Venue: Bricoleur Vineyards
The event was hosted by the spectacular Bricoleur Vineyards offering a series of dining events along with elite wines guests enjoyed with each culinary dish. The event offered some of the most sought-after Zinfandels paired with the food of Chef Charlie Palmer of Dry Creek Kitchen, as well as top local Sonoma County chefs including: SingleThread Farms, The Matheson, The Madrona, Diavola Pizzeria, Parish Cafe, Vintner’s Inn Resort to name a few! All events proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome Connection Bay Area (DSCBA).

All the proceeds from this event were donated to the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area. Over the course of the event, the total amount that was raised was $350,000! What an amazing total for such a great cause. This event is truly a privilege to attend and see the amazing work being done firsthand. I can’t wait come back again next year!
