Located in the heart of the beautiful Anderson Valley, is Dupuis Winery. I recently was able to visit this winery and wine taste with Owner & Winemaker Wells Guthrie and had a spectacular visit. Follow along below to see My Visit to the Charming Dupuis Winery.
DuPuis Winery
When your first arrive at Dupuis Winery, you are surrounded by the trees and the gorgeous vineyard views located in Anderson Valley. DuPuis Winery is about ten minutes outside of town on a very private, secluded road. The rolling hills surrounding the vineyard feel unreal and make for a great view while sipping on some delicious DuPuis Wines.
Ernestine loves visiting the wineries just as much as I do, which is why I love finding Dog-Friendly Wineries I can bring her to. For more fabulous dog-friendly wineries, visit my blog Sonoma Dog-Friendly Wineries to get to know!
Me and Winemaker & Owner Wells Guthrie. If the name sounds familiar it’s because he started the acclaimed and adored Copain Winery (which he has since told to Jackson Family Wines). Read more about Copain Wines here.

Wine Tasting
Known for their incredible Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay Wines produced at the DuPuis vineyard, you’re in for some fun and delicious wines. You all know I love Pinot Noir, and there’s nothing like drinking a great red Pinot Noir straight from and at the source WITH the fabulous winemaker as well. It does not get any better than that!
The Pinot Noir wines are my absolute favorite. This Estate Pinot Noir is earthier (as expected from an Anderson Valley Pinot Noir) with amazing red fruit flavors. It scored a 95 from Wine Spectator and is quite lovely!
As good as their red wines are… the Chardonnay is just as good! This Chardonnay is fermented in cement eggs and is very light with lovely minerality. The Winemaking style is high acid and very Chablis like which I adore. This DuPratt Chardonnay had amazing minerality and green apple, pear and stone fruit flavors. Absolutely lovely!
Cheers to great views and great wine at Dupuis Winery! To visit DuPuis Winery visit their website here to set up a visit. Be sure to tell them The JSF sent you and say hello for me.
