Now that I’m officially a Californian (almost two years in!) I’m enjoying the regular perks of living less than an hour from Wine Country. I head to the area as frequently as possible and I’ve found many favorites I’ve returned back to and will continue to visit. After numerous visits to Sonoma, Scribe Winery has become one of my favorites!! So much that after about 8 visits in two years, I finally joined the Wine Club. Check out some of the Wine Club pick up party shots below. Also, after enjoying some delicious wine at Scribe be sure to grab a bite at one of my favorite Sonoma Restaurants, Fremont Diner.
If you’re like me and prefer an off-the-beaten path, charming, unique winery vs. a large estate (the kind where you’ll see tour buses)Scribe Winery is the spot for you! It’s very intimate with about eight picnic tables, and, when the weather permits, wine tastings are held on picnic tables or blankets on their grass yard. For each of my visits I’ve had a lovely taster walk us through their delicious wines. The Scribe team is very approachable, accommodating, talkative and the type you see yourself wanting to have another drink or cup of coffee with. Talk about a one-of-a-kind visit, this is it! 2300 Napa Road Sonoma, CA 95476. (707) 939-1858.

What a lovely visit to Scribe. I am excited for the Riesling I brought home and usually I don’t even like Riesling. Theirs was so good I had to bring one back to Chicago. Even on a bit of a wet, cool day – sitting outside was lovely with the blankets and amazing view.
