What to expect when visiting and why visit Del Dotto Vineyards
For starters the place is gorgeous, check out the incredible Winery both exterior and interior. Next their Delicacies by Del Dotto Food & Wine pairing is the BEST I have yet to experienced in Napa or Sonoma. It’s approximately two hours, starting at 1pm and concluding around 3pm. There’s also a morning slot but I’d recommend the lunch one so you’re enjoying this incredible Food & Wine pairing as a meal.
What is the format of the Delicacies by Del Dotto Tasting
You are warmly welcomed to Del Dotto Winery with a glass of Rose before starting the cave tour & barrel tasting, yes you heard correctly. You taste various wines (approximately 5-6) straight out of the barrel. Incredible, I know! Following the cave tour, you will enjoy the seated Delicacies by Del Dotto pairing.
As someone that has done various Food & Wine pairings, I can easily say this is the best. Why? The food is the highest in quality and the wine pairings are extremely thoughtful and really compliment both the food & wine. Kudos to Chef Josh Schwartz and his incredible team on the impressive food assortment.
I can’t wait to return to Del Dotto to enjoy more of your culinary expertise. Between the delicious wines and the over the top food you really are in heaven at Del Dotto!

Chef Josh Schwartz with the Truffles we were about to experience in our lunch. Yummy!
Starting off lunch with some Bubbles…..
The Everything Bagel Potato Pave with Smoked Sturgeon. Although I typically don’t love Sturgeon this dish was amazing with the flavorful everything bagel and the crispy potato pave. Yummy!
My favorite course of the meal, a Maine Lobster Roll on Brioche Toast. Word may have gotten back to Chef Josh how much I loved this so I may have enjoyed seconds on this incredible Lobster Roll (shhhhh that’s our little secret).
The Wagyu Beef and Black Truffle Slider. Black Truffle, need I say more….
Chef Josh Schwartz visiting the group and sharing some of the ingredients in our incredible lunch
Banana Pudding Chantilly Cream. Wow, the perfect finale to an incredible meal!
Thanks again Chef Josh and team for having me. Your Winery is gorgeous! And, it was incredible getting to see Josh and the team again. Truly, I loved your amazing food paired with the great Del Dotto Wines. See you next time!
What to wear to this incredible Food & Wine Tasting
Although this Winery is beyond gorgeous and elegant, you can still dress fairly relaxed for a visit here. Personally, I’d wear Jeans, a sweater/light jacket, either booties or sneakers, and some fun accessories. Shop my favorite Wine Tasting items below. Happy shopping!
