One of my favorite ways to wind down and relax after a long day is with a nice glass of wine and a cheese plate. The right cheeses are important in creating a delicious cheese board and I’ve found that Trader Joe’s has a huge collection of great cheeses that are both delicious and won’t break the bank. I’ve made cheese plates and spent over $75 if I shop at higher-end gourmet markets so finding my go-to cheeses at Trader Joe’s that are tasty AND affordable is a win-win!

The Trader Joe’s Asiago Cheese is made with rosemary and olive oil is an excellent, super tasty cheese. I was really impressed with how flavorful the cheese was. It tastes great on its own or even thinly sliced on crackers. Naturally, it is best with wine and you could even grate it over any Italian dish. Sold at $8.99 / lb, it’s a decent price for a premium cheese like this and definitely worth a try.

This is one of the most delicious creamy blue cheeses I have tried and it’s ALWAYS a hit with guests too! It is a mix of creamy brie and the mild blue cheese makes it even better. It can be best enjoyed spread on a crusty piece of bread, with buttery crackers or eaten straight off the block. For $4.80, I highly recommend it.

Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar Cheese
And last but definitely not the least, this “Unexpected Cheddar” cheese is a Trader Joe’s bestseller and a classic. It’s got a crumbly texture, unlike most cheddar cheeses you may have tried. I definitely haven’t left out our vegan friends. This $4.29 vegan feta cheese alternative is for anyone if you’re not vegan. This plant-based cheese tastes just as good as the traditional, goat milk-derived version, with its creamy and savory flavor.
