As most are already aware, Sonoma County is one of those special spots in which I spent a vast majority of my time and recently moved to so am lucky to now call home.  Healdsburg, located alongside the Russian River, is a culinary mecca with great food, wine for foodie and wine lovers (like me and YOU!).   Despite having visited a wide assortment of cafes across the globe, Quail & Condor, a new addition to Healdsburg, brings tough competition to the table when it comes to perfecting pastries.

With the recent opening of Quail & Condor I’ve quickly become a regular enjoying the incredible treats, sweets and breads made by wife and husband duo, Melissa Yanc and Sean McGaughey. From freshly baked loaves of soft sourdough to delicious desserts, Quail & Condor will alter your entire perception of pastry making. I love the open concept design of the store, Ernie was just as interested in the pastries as I was.

One 0f Quail and Condor’s specialties is their freshly baked croissants, which come in a wide variety of flavors. I have a bit of a salty tooth so always order the Ham & Cheese Croissant but I’ve also tried the Chocolate Croissant which is just as divine.

Their fresh baked goods range from bagels to croissants to sweet treats such as pies, in addition to some specialty gluten-free alternatives.
