Cardinale Winery
Cardinale Winery produces some of the most stunning Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Wines I’ve ever experienced. For those enjoying a luxury wine tasting experience… 7600 St Helena Hwy, Oakville, CA 94562.

Arriving in style with a fabulous Lexus. This is a brand I partner with for media trips and absolutely adore!

Cardinale Winery Winemaker Chris Carpenter who I’ve met a bunch and adore. He’s beyond talented, also from Illinois and played football at the University of Illinois (where my parents are alumni as well).

The beautiful Cardinale Winery tasting I enjoyed during a visit. Read about my entire Cardinale Winery tasting experience here.

Far Niente
Far Niente is one of the most beautiful Oakville wineries as you can see from the pictures below. With such gorgeous grounds and wonderful wines, I recommend this winery to anyone with an appreciation for artistry, Cabernets, and Chardonnays. I have not had the chance to visit yet but have been to their sister Winery, Nickel & Nickel so know that their wines are stunning and worth checking out. 1350 Acacia Drive, Oakville, CA 94562

Nickel & Nickel Winery
Next, we have Nickel & Nickel. Known for their “dynamic, interesting, and nuanced Napa Valley Cabernets”, Nickel & Nickel is a must visit on a wine tour of Oakville, especially if you’re a horse lover (like me). Where else can you enjoy stunning winery views, amazing wines, and horses on-site? Read more about Nickel & Nickel Winery here. 1350 Acacia Drive, Oakville, CA 94562

Opus One Winery
As one of the most acclaimed wineries in Napa Valley, Opus One is a must-see when visiting Oakville. Read more about my visit to Opus One Winery here. Also, if you didn’t catch my Instagram Live with Winemaker Michael Silacci watch that here. 7900 St Helena Hwy, Oakville, CA 94562.

Opus One has one of the most elegant tasting rooms I’ve ever seen.

All smiles enjoying a magical day at Opus One Winery.

PlumpJack
Having made history with their screw cap Cabernet Sauvignons, PlumpJack is an iconic Oakville winery. Furthermore, it is also one of the oldest operating wineries in Napa Valley. If you’re planning a tour of Oakville, you must experience PlumpJack’s commitment to quality and detail. 620 Oakville Cross Road, Napa CA 94558

Promontory
Next, is Promontory. This winery’s dramatic landscape paired with their unique wines makes a visit here unforgettable (at least that’s what I’ve heard, as I haven’t been yet). The refinement of even their venue is breathtaking. Just look at these photos! 1601 Oakville Grade Rd, Oakville, CA 94562

Robert Mondavi
Another one of the best wineries in Oakville is Robert Mondavi. Their To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville was named the 5th best vineyard in the world and has been a staple to the Napa wine scene for years. If you’re interested in learning more about their team, see my interview with former winemaker Joe Harden of Robert Mondavi here. If you’d like to read about my experience at Mondavi’s winemaker dinner with Chef Tyler Florence during the Napa Film Festival, see the blog post here. 7801 Saint Helena Highway. Oakville, CA 94562

Cheers to the spectacular To Kalon Vineyard in the backdrop from a summer Winemaker dinner I attended at Robert Mondavi Winery.
Silver Oak Napa Valley
Another well known and well-loved winery in Oakville is Silver Oak Napa Valley. They’re on this list not only for their stunning wines but because of their spectacular culinary and wine tasting experience. This seated tasting experience is hands down, the best food & wine experience in Oakville. For more detail, read the full tasting I enjoyed at Silver Oak Napa Valley on the blog here. If you plan a visit be sure to make an appointment. 915 Oakville Cross Rd, Oakville, CA 94562

Silver Oak also has a location in Healdsburg. Read all about their gorgeous winery and tasting room in the blog post here.

A welcome of Sauvignon Blanc from sister Winery Twomey.

Turnbull Cellars
Turnbull Cellars is another gem I suggest you visit. The wines are beautiful and the setting is both laid back, approachable, yet also has a luxurious touch to it. See my blog post on Turnbull Cellars here. Also, there are some tasting experiences for wine club members only (in private tasting rooms) and such. For those non-club members, I suggest a tasting in the garden or else in their lovely tasting room. 8210 St Helena Highway Oakville, CA. 94562

1881
Last but certainly not least, 1881 is an Oakville winery you must see. 1881 is a celebration of the region of Napa. With many different wines available for tasting and an elegant setup in its historical Victorian home, 1881 is one of the best Oakville wine destinations! 7856 St. Helena Highway Oakville, CA 94562
