My Lovely Stay at the Olea Hotel

As you all know I love to travel and experience the lovely parts of California. On my recent trip to Glen Ellen, I stayed at the Olea Hotel which was absolutely amazing! Olea Hotel is an incredibly elegant hotel that sits on the hillside of Sonoma Valley where the views of the valley are picture-perfect. The modern hotel rooms, backyard terrace, large pool, fabulous food, excellent service, intimate setting, and great location were just a handful of reasons that made my Olea Hotel experience one to remember!

Find yourself wanting some fabulous food while in Glen Ellen? Be sure to check out my experience at the fabulous, Glen Ellen Star which is definitely one of the best restaurants in Glen Ellen that is a must-try. If you have two nights I also suggest you visit the Fig Cafe & Wine Bar, another Glen Ellen MUST!

How is the view?

The Olea hotel’s view is just amazing. Located on the hillside means you can see the vast scenery of the Sonoma Valley. It is a perfect spot for you sunset lovers!

The Olea Hotel lobby is located in an adorable cottage. I was greeted by kind staff along with lemonade and house spiced nuts in the lobby (always a fun surprise)! They also have complimentary tea, wine and coffee for guests.

Olea Hotel Upper View King Rooms

My Upper View King Room was absolutely fabulous. With a comfortable king bed, a desk and a large flat-screen TV in the room, I was completely relaxed. It was wonderful that the Olea Hotel room also had many windows that let in lots of light and opened to a balcony.

I was lucky to be accompanied by a cute little roommate! Love that I could bring my Ernie girl into the Olea Hotel rooms that were so beautiful and elegant.

There is nothing better than a pool day! I loved hanging out in the pool with a glass of wine in hand.

Olea Hotel Gourmet Breakfast

Okay now onto the food… can I just say ,wow. You know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the Olea Hotel made that happen! The hotel offers a gourmet complimentary breakfast that was divine. The food is crafted by the hotel’s executive chef and really was the perfect start to my day!

Here is my fabulous chorizo breakfast tacos and a side of fruit. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts!

The next day I was lucky to start my day with pancakes topped with whipped ricotta, peaches, and maple syrup. It was the perfect sweet and tasty breakfast!

I will definitely be back. Thank you Olea Hotel for a fabulous stay! If you’re planning a trip to California’s Wine Country be sure to check out my Best Luxury Hotels in Wine Country blog post here.
