As long as I remember, probably since 2012 when I move to San Francisco I’ve dreamed about dining at Atelier Crenn. Chef / Owner Dominic Crenn was the first female chef to achieve 3 Michelin Stars and I had always heard magical things about the experience. 

This past June, this dream became a reality as my boyfriend surprised me and planned a Birthday Dinner for us at Atelier Crenn, San Francisco.  The modern French cuisine is unlike no other and is a clear reflection of her French heritage. The Gorgeous Atelier Crenn Restaurant

As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you are taken aback by the delicious smell of all the food around you. It is a chic and modern restaurant with some of the best French food in San Francisco. Atelier Crenn San Francisco is a true gem you must try yourself.

The Amazing Food

We experienced a 14-course meal at Atelier Crenn, San Francisco. It may seem like a lot, but it’s quite an amazing experience being able to try all of these unique and beautiful dishes. 

We started with a glass of champagne (of course) which was lovely! 

There is so much detail in every course served, it’s hard to pick which was my favorite.

This was one of the most unique dishes. We were served a large radish on a tray with logs filled with flowers.

Getting ready for dessert, I enjoyed it with a glass of red wine.

Towards the end of the visit we were whisked away from our table for a surprise tour of the pastry kitchen. I always love seeing behind the scenes in a restaurant where all the magic happens so this was probably one of my favorite elements of the dining experience, besides the food and amazing company of course! 

After touring the kitchen we were led to Bar Crenn where we enjoyed dessert. This was fun as I didn’t realize we would be moving from one dining space to another so quite a fun expected surprise!
