One in six children in America lives with hunger, including more than 1 in 5 kids in California. On March 28thSan Francisco’s Taste of the Nation, an evening that brings together dozens of the best local chefs, sommeliers and mixologistsfor an incredible epicurean experience, all while raising the critical funds needed to end childhood hunger in California and across the US, will be taking place at The Regency Ballroom.

San Francisco Taste of The Nation

Local culinary titans Chef Melissa Perello of Frances and Octavia and Chef Josh Even of Tofino Wines will be hosting San Francisco’s Taste of the Nation, combining their passion while supporting the cause.

Here are a few facts about the event:

  • One-hundred-percent of proceeds support the No Kid Hungry campaign’s work to end childhood hunger in America.
  • Taste of the Nation is partnering with California Food Policy Advocates, the California Association of Food Banks, 18 Reasons and multiple school districts in the Bay Area including Oakland Unified School District and San Francisco Unified School District.
  • Notable San Francisco culinary talent and eateries participating include: Ayala Restaurant, China Live, DOSA, E&O Kitchen and Bar, EPIC Steak, FARM at Carneros, Frances, Horsefeather, KAIYŌ, La Mar Cebicheria, Octavia, One Market Restaurant, Pabu Izakaya, Roka Akor, School Night, Sorrel Restaurant, Souvla, Tacolicious, The Commissary, The Slanted Door, The Vault, Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, Waterbar and more.
