Over the years I’ve always been dreaming about visiting Kistler Vineyards. Lucky for me, this was actually my second visit to Kistler Vineyards. It’s one of those wineries that after you go once you’re already dreaming about when to visit. I had an absolutely amazing experience on my first trip. Flash forward a few years and I was able to make another visit (this time during COVID). Continue reading below to see my unforgettable second visit to Kistler Vineyards, and why you need to plan a visit yourself.
Kistler Vineyards
Arriving to Kistler Vineyards. So excited for this summer visit to this spectacular Sonoma Winery.
Arriving with a welcome glass of the beautiful Kistler Vineyards Chardonnay.
We tasted in this magical outdoor tasting area which paired perfectly with the elegant Kistler Vineyards Wines and gorgeous vineyard views!
Our lineup of wines for the day, we were so excited to try these Kistler Vineyards Chardonnays and Pinot Noir.
The lovely Karin hosted us during this visit and my last visit a few years ago. She’s spectacular and beyond knowledgable about the Kistler Vineyards story and their wines. Since this was during COVID Karin was masked, as were me and my friend who joined me. Speaking of masks, check out my My Favorite Reusable Face Masks, and my Favorite Designer Face Masks here.
Such a nice culinary spread they brought us to enjoy with our delicious Kistler Vineyards Wine tasting.
The presentation is so beautiful, I can’t get enough of all the aspects Kistler Vineyards offers to its guests.
The Cuvee Natalie Pinot Noir was as lovely as imagined. It’s funny because typically when I think of Kistler Vineyards Chardonnay comes to mind but their Pinot Noir wines are just as impressive.
Enjoying a glass of wine with a lovely view of the vineyards. This visit was during October and isn’t wine country just so stunning with this fall foliage and festive Halloween decor?
During this visit, we toured the property and I was able to see the dining setup where Single Thread Farm Restaurant was doing pop-up dinners (during the summer and fall of 2020). As the backdrop for guests are these stunning views and the rolling hills. Lucky for the guests the wine pairings included during these pop-up dinners are from Kistler Vineyards.
The tables are more than six feet apart to ensure their guests feel the most comfortable while still being able to enjoy their wine tasting. If you’re curious about wine-tasting during COVID, see my blog, COVID Wine Tasting, What it’s Like, and What to Expect.
A private tasting area that you can make a reservation through on the Kistler Vineyards website.
As I was departing I ran into Kyle and Katina Connaughton, the Owners & husband and wife team who founded and own Single Thread. Read more about my to die for dining experience at Single Thread Farm Restaurant Inn here.
Cheers to another beyond special visit to Kistler Vineyards. Thanks for hosting me and my guest for this delicious tasting.
