Just a few minutes from downtown Healdsburg, this newly designed winery has Bordeaux-style wines that are crafted by Winemaker Jesse Katz.

The Aperture Cellars Tasting Room
The designs and layout at Aperture Cellars are beautifully unique and worth a visit to check out for yourself. If you haven’t been yet, I suggest reaching 0ut to get a reservation as soon as possible. They’re hosting guests in a socially distanced way so that it is COVID safe. The stunning main room guests arrive to. So gorgeous, bright, and welcoming. Along with the amazing wines Aperture Cellars offers, they also showcase photography at the winery from Jesse’s father, Andy Katz.

Wine Tasting
The wine tasting experience at Aperture Cellars was stunning! I was able to experience my tasting both indoors and outdoors (taking in their gorgeous views for of course photo opps). Winemaker Jesse Katz’s phenomenal Bordeaux-style wines, made in this cool climate, create such a unique and fantastic tasting experience.

Views of our tasting. I love how although we were inside the sliding doors were open giving an almost inside and outside experience and of course letting us enjoy the stunning Vineyard views in the backdrop.
We started out with the 2019, Aperture Cellars Chenin Blanc. Interestingly these grapes are sourced from Clarksburg, California. This was very fresh, vibrant and enjoyable.
After the white wines, we moved on to the lovely red wines!
