Arriving at Calistoga for The Calistoga Harvest Table. The Calistoga Chamber of Commerce team is so adorable! I love the warm welcome with my Calistoga tote, trucker hat, water bottle, bottle of wine and media credentials. Let the fun begin!
They know me so well. Davis Estates is a Calistoga Winery that I adore. Read more about them and some other fabulous Calistoga Wineries in my Calistoga Wineries Guide here.
A warm welcome from Calistoga Mayor Chris Canning. He’s the best, we’ve gotten to know each other over the years and Chris is super hands-on, always at events mingling with guests and such a great ambassador for the city of Calistoga.
Me and my lovely ladies. Shown is Kelly Carter, Emily Merrill of Six Degrees Society and my friend Gwyneth Borden of Ground Floor Hospitality; Events like this are always more fun with a gaggle of girls.
Me and the amazing Barrett’s. Shown is Bo Barrett, Winemaker for Chateau Montelena and his lovely wife, Heidi Barrell also a winemaker for various Napa Valley projects. This is one of the most amazing families in Napa Valley and they’re both so lovely, approachable and beyond talented.
Running into another friend George Goeggel, Managing partner at Auberge Napa Valley.
All smiles taking in these fabulous views of downtown Calistoga. This really is such a FUN and unique event. For sure a Napa Valley must-do for those who adore Calistoga and Napa Valley as much as I do!
I was were hosted as media at Veraison for dinner which I was excited about as I have never dined here.
Throughout the dinner, there were bars set up sharing various wines with guests. This happened to be just steps from our dinner table which was so convenient.
Our first course was Foie Gras on a little biscuit. This was quite tasty and I’m not typically a big foie girl (it’s lovely but can be so rich and heavy).
Chilled Corn Soup was next which was perfect on a hot day. Another tasty dish!
I love this view during dinner of Lincoln Avenue closed and covered with guests dining at their various local restaurants.
I opted for the vegetarian entree which was amazing…. this tomato and mozzarella salad was divine. Super fresh and flavorful, perfect on a hot night in Napa Valley.
Cheers to my lovely friend also Emily M. who joined me for a fully packed weekend in Napa concluding with this fabulous Calistoga Harvest Table. Emily is getting married in Calistoga next month at SSS Ranch (another Calistoga gem I adore, more about SSS Ranch on the blog here) so I was thrilled to invite her to join me and get more familiar with charming Calistoga and their culinary and wine scene.
Last but not least, Tiramasu dessert!
Thanks to The Calistoga Chamber of Commerce for hosting me to this incredible annual Harvest Table Event. I still remember the first time I experienced Calistoga’s Harvest Table (a few years ago when I fell in love).
What do you think?
