James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Los Angeles Event

For those of you foodies, like me you’ll be thrilled to hear about an upcoming James Beard Foundation event youĀ must check out.Ā Celebrating its fourth year, the James Beard Foundationā€™s Taste America Tour is a national culinary program that takes place in ten cities, including Los Angeles, over six weekends each fall.

TheĀ upcoming Los Angeles Event which takes placeĀ Friday, September 23rd – Saturday, September 24th.Ā The cocktail, tasting reception and dinner will take place Friday, September 23rd from 6:00pm ā€“ 10:00pm at Vibiana. Ā See more event details here and BUY TICKETS here.

Taste America All-Star and James Beard Award-winner Scott Conant of Impero CaffĆØ, New YorkĀ will collaborate with Local Star Curtis Stone ofĀ GwenĀ and Pastry Chef Hedy Goldsmith of Sweet HedyĀ to create a one-of-a-kind four-course dining experience. This unique partnering of culinary greats will also feature a tasting reception, where Host Chef Neal Fraser of Redbird, Nyesha Arrington of Leona, Josef Centeno Orsa & Winston,Ā Ā Jeremy Fox of Rustic Canyon, and Bruce Kalman of Union will dazzle guests with their individual culinary styles.

Weekend festivities will also include in-store celebrity chef appearances, cooking demonstrations, book signings, tastings and more at Sur La Table. Talent includingĀ Scott Conant and Suzanne Goin will be at the Sur La Table Event Saturday.
