The Claremont Berkeley Fairmont Hotel
During a recent staycation at the Claremont Berkeley Hotel, I had the pleasure of dining in their newest restaurant Limewood Bar & Grill. A friend and JetSetting Fashionista board of advisor, Julie, joined me for a lovely ladies evening of yummy cocktails, wine, food, and an incredible experience. Read more about this Berkeley gem to find out why it’s the perfect spot for Oakland or San Francisco natives for a night out with amazing food, a killer setting, and spectacular San Francisco views. 41 Tunnel Rd, Berkeley, CA 94705
The gorgeous Claremont Berkeley lobby lounge.
Me and Jules exploring the beautiful hotel before heading to our dinner date.
I loved the lobby and the swanky furniture and decor. This fur bench was amazing, I could literally sit here all day or, better yet, have one in my home– it would fit right in!
The Limewood Bar & Grill Restaurant interior. The decor was very beautiful with lots of bright views of San Francisco from most of the seats in the restaurant or the bar. There were various sections, each with their own vibe and feel which made it feel very intimate and cozy. I really loved what the architect and designer did in this entire hotel, especially the restaurant.
The outdoor seating with spectacular sunset views of San Francisco.
JetSetting Fashionista insider tip:
We had a 7pm reservation, but I would recommend a late afternoon visit or early afternoon/evening happy hour to take in the sun and enjoy these views over the delicious food and drinks.
Cheers to these sunset views of San Francisco from Berkeley.
The chicken entree was served with some yummy gnocchi.
The fish entree I enjoyed. I really loved the pasta paired with the fish.
We were so full from dinner we could not eat another bite. However, when our server suggested I take dessert to my room to enjoy, I thought that was the perfect plan… I mean a girl has gotta enjoy some chocolate cake during her staycation, right? We ordered a Foxen Wine Pinot Noir with dinner, an incredible Central Coast Pinot Noir that I adore. I was truly in heaven in bed with dessert and wine!
Thanks to the Claremont Hotel for hosting me for my over-night stay and the lovely dinner at The Limewood Bar & Grill. Everything was amazing and I loved experiencing my new favorite Berkeley getaway.
