Four Seasons Seattle is one of my all-time favorite places to stay in the Pacific Northwest. You can read about my most recent stay in my Four Seasons Seattle COVID Stay blog post here. Their iconic restaurant, the Goldfinch Tavern, is offering an exclusive private dining experience during winter 2020/2021. Learn more below!
To comply with social distancing guidelines and keep its guests warm, the dining venue is a quaint and heated poolside cabana. This cabana is gorgeously decorated and the view of Elliot bay is nothing short of breathtaking.
The glowing pool, strings lights, and luminous Seattle skyline make this setting so magical!
Arriving at the cabana, I am so thankful that I can still dine with Goldfinch Tavern amidst widespread restaurant closures. They could not have made their COVID-safe dining option more luxurious than this.
Taking a look at the inside, you can see just how perfect this setup is. The heater inside keeps it toasty warm while the string lights and candles create the most romantic atmosphere. It is also incredibly roomy and the couches are so cozy!
After taking a seat inside the adorable cabana, I am so ready to eat some delicious Goldfinch Tavern food.
Following COVID safety protocols, their menu is fully digital to minimize contact. All you have to do is scan the QR code on your phone! We started our meal with some drinks. Pictured above are signature cocktails, the Apple-Pear Mule and A Walk in the Woods. We also ordered the Shrimp Cocktail Platter, complete with poached shrimp, pear cocktail sauce, and lemons.
Next up, Crostinis. These are a must-order if you ever get the chance to dine at the Goldfinch Tavern cabana. We ordered the Fig Crostini (with hummus, aged balsamic, and Aleppo pepper) and the Salmon Crostini (with shallots and chervil).
After cocktails and crostinis, it’s time for small plates. Pictured above is the delicious Shrimp & Salmon Cioppino.
You can also see in the top left here that we definitely weren’t going to miss out on their delicious Mac & Cheese! This guy comes with Dungeness crab, Beecher’s cheese, and crispy breadcrumbs. Speaking of Beecher’s Cheese, check out my Seattle Dining Guide including Beecher’s Cheese on the blog here.
Last but certainly not least, two fabulous desserts. The Chocolate Delight Cake and the Vanilla Cheesecake!
All smiles after finishing a delicious meal in a gorgeous setting.
Thank you to Four Seasons Seattle, Goldfinch Tavern, and everyone else on staff for showing me a wonderful stay and fabulous dining experience. I am already planning my next trip back!
