As someone who has visited upwards of 400 wineries over the years, the ones that I find most memorable typically are wineries with both amazing wines and a stunningly beautiful setting. With my love for Architecture (my father is a Landscape Architect) and my love for wineries, this post shares some of my favorite experiences at the most impressive architecturally stunning wineries!
Napa Valley’s Cade Winery is one of those places that you see pictures of but can’t imagine that it really exists until you see it for yourself. The Winery is located on Napa Valley’s Howell Mountain along a dramatic hillside of Manzanita trees. Cade Winery has delicious wines, a gorgeous setting, an amazing personable experience making it such a memorable and fun visit.
The spectacular valley views we enjoyed throughout the tasting.
Such a beautiful winery and experience! Read more about the visit on my blog here.
On your next Napa Valley wine trip, you’re definitely going to want to stop by Davis Estates and Vineyards to taste their delicious wines along with beautiful scenery! I had a great time spending the day here and can’t wait to go back.
Located on the Silverado Trail, there is a special entrance leading to Davis Estates.
Davis Estates offers guests stunning Napa Valley views from their deck.
A beautiful winery setting, incredible wines, and a lovely family story really make Davis Estates one of a kind.
Domaine Roy & Fils
Domaine Roy & Fils has the coolest & most chic tasting room in Oregon (at least of the 10 wineries I have visited!). They have a gorgeous winery located in the Dundee Hills with a fabulous team. Combing a beautiful facility, talented winemakers, lovely wines and a great team make this winery a favorite for those of you wanting it all.
For my visit, I was seated outside (which was perfect during these COVID times) with these spectacular views of their Iron Filbert Vineyard.
Cool scene. Beauty. Great wines and lovely hospitality. Read more about my visit on the blog here.

L’Angolo Estate is one of the most beautiful wineries I have visited in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The scenery was gorgeous and their wines were absolutely delicious! The architecture at this winery is absolutely stunning!
Lokoya Winery is a collection of four distinct Cabernet Sauvignons from four of Napa Valley’s most celebrated mountain appellations: Mount Veeder, Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain, and Diamond Mountain. The recent renovation by and architecture was done by Architect, Howard Backen blew me away and truly created a magical destination. This beautiful and luxurious winery took my breath away, read more about my trip to Lokoya Winery in my blog here.
The spectacular library with views of the tasting room.
Such an amazing view, visit, and overall experience. You must visit and experience this breathtaking winery yourself!
MacRostie Winery and Vineyards
MacRostie Winery and Vineyards is located in Healdsburg, California. It’s approximately 70 miles from San Francisco and is great for a day trip or overnight stay. It’s a gorgeous Winery with spectacular views, fabulous amenities, amazing wines, and a beyond dedicated team.
Steve MacRostie visits the Estate every Saturday to meet guests, giving us a chance to chat and hang out. Such a nice friendly guy! Truly a class act with amazing wines, read more about it on the blog here.
Opus One Winery
I’ve had the privilege of visiting Opus One Winery several times, and every time exceeds and triumphs my expectations! Opus One Winery is such a beautiful winery with out of this world wines and an amazing team. I’ve been able to create friendships here at Opus One and even attend their Winery’s Harvest, you can read about it here on my blog, and participate in an Instagram Live interview with Winemaker Michael Silacci you can see here.
Opus One Winery never disappoints and always leaves me so excited to come back! Read more about my visit to Opus One here!
This ascent you will see gorgeous views of Napa Valley, leading to a private drive to Ovid Winery. Every aspect of the experience makes the suspense that much more exciting. One of the most spectacular wine tasting room view imaginable! Read more about the magnificent Ovid Winery and why you must try to visit for yourself on the blog here.
The Tasting Room with Napa Valley views. Hands down the most spectacular wine tasting room view imaginable.
Located in the heart of Santa Barbara County’s singular Santa Maria Valley, check out my Santa Maria Top 10 blog here, is the beautiful Presqu’ile Winery. This is a small, family-run winery dedicated to making exceptional cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. This is one of the most spectacular wineries I’ve seen with incredible wines and an awesome family behind the brand.
Cheers to Presqui’le Winery and your incredible wines, for more information check out the blog post here.
Ram’s Gate Winery
One of the first things I fell in love with when I first visited Ram’s Gate Winery was the architecture. The winery is absolutely gorgeous, and their wine is amazing! Designed by architect Howard Backen, the interior has a similar vibe to a Restoration Hardware with very high barn-like ceilings and a very open, warm feel to it. For more information visit our blog here and definitely be sure to visit Ram’s Gate during your next Wine Country visit!
The beautiful tasting room where your tour begins!
Silver Oak Healdsburg
