Law Estate Wines is a special estate found in the amazing town of Paso Robles. Sitting on the top of a hill overlooking the 100% estate-grown Law Family Vineyard sits the modern and chic tasting room. Here, I had an incredible tasting with the guidance of Winemaker Phillipp Pfunder who provided a very personable experience. We explored a selection of 4 wines which were all exceptionally made. With Law Estate Wines’ attention to detail and minimalistic contemporary approach to winemaking, you can taste the quality in every sip.

The Vineyard
Law Estate Wines has an incredible Paso Robles tasting room. The vast hills that surround this special winery make for such a serene experience and the stunning look of the place is so inviting. I was lucky to go on a tour and was impressed by the entire estate. I also got a special look into their tank room, look at all that wine!
When you think the inside is fabulous, just wait untill you get to the outside area. I love this modern spot and having the option to taste on a comfy couch is always a plus.
The Law Estate Wines Tasting
We enjoyed a selection of 4 wines including their 2017 Sagacious, 2017 Audacious, 2017 Beyond Category and their 2017 Aspire during our guided tasting. I love when I can have such an education tasting. It really makes the wine experience elevated when you are learning about the specific flavors in each glass.
Lets talk about these views… just beautiful. The scenery and incredible tasting space was incredible!
I was also incredibly lucky to get to get a special pour of the divine 2020 Law Estate Rosé and 2017 Beguiling. Both are a must try!
I absolutely loved this tasting! Who better than Winemaker Phillipp Pfunder to explain his special wines to us. It was so interesting to learn about the wines, history, facility and winemaking practices from the man himself. Such a special treat.
