Arriving to The Tallman House Hotel for my over night stay. It is so adorable and charming I was beyond thrilled for a night away at this peaceful getaway.
The adorable courtyard connecting the hotel lobby and the Blue Wing Saloon Restaurant.
The beautiful interior of the hotel lobby. I loved the stunning antiques and the beautiful decor. It has such a homey, cozy feel to it.
My adorable guest house. I was on the first floor which I immediately learned was a very special unit as I had my own Japanese Soaking Tub which I fell in love with.
Arriving to my room with a warm welcome including some local wine and a cheese plate. Thanks to the Tallman Hotel for the lovely treat and generous welcome!
The private back patio of my room including a shower and a Japenese Soaking Tub. Heavenly!
This is the Japenese Tub which I learned are sourced from Berkeley. Hotel Owners Mr. and Mrs. Butcher spent some time in Japan and really enjoyed these tubs and thought they would a unique enjoyable touch for their guests. I could not agree more. I enjoyed my soak in here so much that I was late to my dinner reservation. Seriously this relaxing oasis was such a special treat during my stay at The Tallman.
Cheese, tunes with my Libratone Travel speakers and a good read. What more does a girl need to relax!
During my stay I dined at The Blue Wing Restaurant which is also owned by The Tallman Hotel. This was quite a small town gem with a bar filled with locals mingling as well as about 10-12 tables with guests dining at them.
I started with an artichoke dip which was heavenly. I may have eaten more than planned as it was so good!
I enjoyed a Veggie Burger as my entree paired with some local Lake County wine from Shannon Ridge.
Morning views at the stunning Tallman Hotel. This charming hotel and small town is truly magical. I found it so relaxing, adorable, intimate and peaceful. The perfect quick weekend getaway from San Francisco (about 2 hours north).
The live music played during the weekend brunch.
Enjoying the complimentary breakfast for hotel guests. One of the things I appreciate at a hotel, especially a small boutique hotel like this are the little touches guests get spoiled with like a home-made complimentary breakfast. So lovely!
Views of the charming town and some of the local stores.
Thanks to the Tallman Hotel for hosting me for my stay. This was a magical getaway and a small town I really enjoyed getting to know and hope I can visit again soon!
