Deck out in costume and head to Roka Bar’s Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 31, beginning at 9 p.m. – close. While sipping on specialty cocktails and dancing to tracks by West City, guests are encouraged to post their best costume selfies with #RokaHalloween2015 on Instagram. Winners will be announced at midnight: First place will win a decadent Omakase feast for two at Roka Akor ($276 value), second place will receive a $100 gift card, and third place will receive a $50 gift card. Chipotle Mexican Grill Chipotle’s annual Boorito fundraiser is back—this year with an added twist. On Saturday, October 31 between 5pm and closing, Chipotle will offer $3 burritos, bowls, salads, and tacos to customers dressed in a costume with an “unnecessary” addition. This twist on the costume guidelines supports the company’s larger vision of serving only the highest quality ingredients versus the complex array of unnecessary additives and preservatives that are typically found in fast food. Brewcade™ is kicking off Hallow-weekend early, Friday, October 30th, and will celebrate through Saturday, October 31st, with their recently installed Chauvet High-Output Ultraviolent LED black lights for Cosmic Arcade Night(s). Guests are encouraged to dress in black light-friendly clothing, paint, or accessories to glow under this new ultraviolet light system to match the special accents (such as fluorescent ornaments and glow-in-dark cups) throughout the bar and surrounding Brewcade™ space. On Halloween night, Saturday, October 31st, Brewcade™ will hold a costume contest (with prizes) for the best costume (fluorescent costumes encouraged, but not required) first place, second place, and third place winners will be selected. Restaurant 1833 Channeling the haunted past of the Stokes Adobe House presents Halloween at the Haunted Apothecary on October 31, 2015. Join the resurrection of Dr. James Stokes and Hattie Gragg for the Halloween party of the year as the Adobe reveals its dark side as a haunted apothecary. Featuring beats by DJ BAD DJ, a costume contest at midnight, and apothecary-themed drinks, the party will run from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. with dinner service also available in the bar and dining room. Just stones-throw away from The French Laundry in Yountville, Kollar Chocolates is an artisan chocolate shop based in Napa Valley that specializes in edible works of art. Chris Kollar, the self-trained chocolatier and modern day Willy Wonka is constantly making fun creations for the holidays. This Halloween, Chris came up with some gruesomely realistic treats. The gory Valrhona Dark Chocolate Bloody Knife $12 is made up of Valrhona solid dark chocolate and the Caramel Apple Eye Balls $2 are filled with a double layer sour apple “goo” and Calvados Dulcey ganache are both available online nationally. The knife would definitely be a good trick for any adult party.
