Lambert Bridge Winery is a winery that sits just west of Dry Creek. If you would like to read about other wineries in this region that I recommend, see my Top 10 Dry Creek Wineries blog post here. Lambert Bridge is nestled between the redwoods and is optimally located for growing some of the best wine grapes in California. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lambert Bridge for a COVID-friendly tasting experience. I’d like to share some details of that experience with you!
Honoring their beautiful land in Sonoma and crafting the highest quality small-lot wines are the main focuses of this winery. Lambert Bridge’s tradition is a true representation of what California wine culture is all about.
Soaking up the sun during a fabulous day of tasting!
Lambert Bridge has lovely outdoor seating throughout the grounds for a pleasant fresh-air experience. Their attention to comfort and detail makes you almost forget about the current COVID situation.
Views of the interior of Lambert Bridge (from the outside). During COVID it’s not open but it still has the coziest intimate feel. I can’t wait until post COVID when things resume back to normal and I can wine taste inside the Lambert Bridge Winery tasting room!
Arriving to Lambert Bridge Winery for my tasting. This visit was during COVID so the staff held the whole tasting outside in a safe and socially distanced setting. For more info on wine-tasting during COVID, be sure to check out my COVID Wine Tasting blog post here.
All my lovely friends at Lambert Bridge were respectfully masked and excited to welcome guests!
During the tasting, we enjoyed a small cheese & charcuterie plate. This paired lovely with the Sauvignon Blanc wine we also enjoyed.
All smiles enjoying these delicious wines. I really enjoyed the Merlot which I had never had before and was super silky, smooth, and lovely.
The Cabernet Sauvignon was also stunning and probably what Lambert Bridge is most known for. They have such a loyal following of Wine Club Members that you really can only buy the Cabernet Sauvignon if you’re a club member. I’m lucky I was able to taste it during the visit.
Views of the gorgeous Lambert Bridge Garden area. This is even more spectacular and perfect for safe socially distanced wine tastings during COVID.
After the tasting I strolled along the stunning Lambert Bridge Gardens. Wow, they’re so magical I was already planning my next visit back with friends having a little picnic in their gardens. And I’ll bring Ernie next time since Lambert Bridge Winery is dog friendly! I told you they’re the best.
A big thank you to everyone at Lambert Bridge for their gorgeous wines and wonderful hospitality.
