While I love wine tasting, I’ve come to find that wine always pairs best with the perfect meal. Paso Robles, known best for its wine country, is one of my favorite hidden gems in California. The area offers an assortment of incredible views, delicious foods, and most importantly, handcrafted wines that will truly blow your mind. Cass Winery is located in Paso Robles California. As you arrive, it’s pretty unassuming (part of what I love about Paso Robles it’s all quite unexpected yet their wines are phenomenal). However, the moment you settle into the garden (shown below) and try their wines you’ll quickly see how spectacular this Paso Robles gem is! 7350 Linne Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446
Next up, we have the incredible meal I enjoyed while visiting Cass Winery. This sandwich paired perfectly with wine and vineyard views.
After experiencing their spectacular outside garden I highly recommend experiencing the Garden for your visit. It’s impossible to beat the vineyard views, combined with the amazing wines, the delicious food and the relaxing atmosphere. I took at peak at the tasting room and the vibe is no where near as spectacular as tasting and dining outside overlooking the vineyards.
Cello Ristorante at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort
Talk about a beautiful and relaxing wine experience. The Cello Ristorante at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort is a must visit for a delectable wine and food combination. I enjoyed a delicious brunch of Huevos Rancheros and paired it with a Cello Spicy Bloody Mary. I was absolutely wonderful! After brunch, I enjoyed the Allegretto Vineyard’s beautiful outside area where I sat and enjoyed wonderful Allegretto wine. 2700 Buena Vista Dr #102, Paso Robles, CA 93446
Daou Vineyards is a must for both a fabulous culinary experience and phenomenal wines. The food we enjoyed perfectly with the fabulous Daou wine. Not only were our taste buds satisfied, but the views were stunning. Daou Vineyards truly has it all. I even got to ride in ATV and tour the vineyard, it was seriously so much fun! Another winery that is a must-see in Paso Robles is Halter Ranch. Not only are they making some incredible wines and a lot of varietals, but they also have one of the most beautiful Paso Robles Wineries. Also, I loved their outdoor tables with vineyard views to relax and enjoy a weekend afternoon paired with tasty bites. Read more about Halter Ranch here. 8910 Adelaida Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
Justin Vineyards & Winery offers an amazing tasting and dining experience with an assortment of meals that will completely reconstruct your perception of wining and dining. I recently visited to celebrate the birthday of a good friend. Additionally, I had the pleasure of trying their 6-Course Justin Restaurant Dinner. Read more about my experience here. 11680 Chimney Rock Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446
The restaurant at Justin offers an incredible lunch and dinner menu in addition to their assortment of wine tastings. Their staff has been working hard to ensure that the experience is entirely Covid safe.
Our first of many exquisite meals to try included an Avocado and Dungeness Crab dish dressed in lemon with asparagus and radish as a side. Additionally, we were served a glass of 2019 Justin Rosé which was delightful with this beautiful seafood entree.
Additionally, we were served an Artichoke Ravioli featuring green garlic and black truffle mornay, how delicious does that sound?
