Next up, we have the lovely restaurant at Justin Winery which offers an incredible assortment of foods, featuring both a lunch and dinner menu. Note that this visit was during COVID so the Winery was taking extra precautions to be safe for their staff and guests. 

The Wine Country tasting room is absolutely stunning. Justin is unique in the sense that they also own a downtown tasting room location in Paso Robles.

Additionally, I was welcomed with the Justin Winery Rosé which was lovely. Super light, refreshing and very easy to drink. Speaking of Rosé Wines, stay tuned for my Favorite Rosé Wines of Paso Robles coming soon!

I visited with pals Gwyenth (the birthday girl) and Alex. We had a LOT of fun (to say the least)!

The views at Justin’s restaurant are remarkable, look at those vineyards! Our table had these views in the backdrop. Talk about PERFECTION.

A preview of the various dishes offered at the 6 course meal, all paired with some of my favorite Justin Wines.

Course 1

To begin with, our first of many exquisite meals to try included an Avocado and Dungeness Crab dish dressed in lemon with asparagus and radish as a side. Additionally, we were served a glass of 2019 Justin Rosé which was delightful with this beautiful seafood entree. 

Course 2

Second, we enjoyed this Perigord Black Truffle Risotto. It left us speechless, topped with chive and Parmigiano Reggiano for the perfect blend of flavors. This paired heavenly with the Justin Winery red wines. 

Course 3

For our second round of incredible cuisine, we were served an Artichoke Ravioli featuring green garlic and black truffle mornay, how delicious does that sound?

Course 4

Next up, our main entree consisted of a Prime Creekstone Filet which was absolutely amazing. The dish came with a side of oyster mushrooms, beets, and breakfast radish, all perfectly complimenting of the filet itself.

Course 5

The Challerhocker Croquette was a unique dish that tasted incredible alongside potato fondant and apples mostarda.

Course 6

A huge thank you to Justin Winery for hosting me and my guest (the birthday girl) Gwyneth for this spectacular dining & wine tasting experience. This was truly phenomenal and I can’t wait to come back again next time I’m in Paso Robles.
