Chenoweth is a winery that I recently got more familiar with and have fallen in LOVE with!! After tasting these wines I was anxious to visit Chenoweth Vineyards and experience a fabulous UTV Ride & vineyard tour with the Chenoweth Wines team. Located in Sonoma County, Chenoweth Vineyards is absolutely gorgeous with unique flavors that reflect the vineyard and region of California. Follow along below to read about My Lovely Chenoweth Vineyards Tour & Wine Tasting.
The Tasting
Like many of my recent blog posts regarding winery visits, COVID has changed the usual wine tasting scene. Visiting Chenoweth Vineyards during the age of social distancing was an absolute pleasure. I felt safe and comfortable through the entirety of the experience thanks to the wonderful team’s hospitality.

Assistant Winemaker Kyra welcoming me with a glass of their lovely Chenoweth Wines Russian River Chardonnay.
Another thing I loved about Chenoweth Vineyards, they are dog-friendly! My lovely dog Ernestine loves joining me during my winery tours and tastings. Check out my blog post on My Favorite Dog-Friendly Wineries in Sonoma, California here.
I was so glad that Winemaker Amy Chenoweth was able to guide me during the tour and tasting. Learn more in my Interview with Amy Chenoweth here.
The fabulous female winemaking Team including Winemaker aka “The Maker” Amy and Assistant Winemaker Kyra. These ladies are so cool, down to earth and beyond hands on. I was lucky enough to be hosted by them both during my tasting and UTV ride. Talk about a hands on involved team, I LOVE it!
The Chenoweth Vineyards UTV Tour
The views of the Chenoweth Vineyards are phenomenal. Ernestine and I were lucky enough to ride through the vineyards on a UTV with Amy Chenoweth herself. It was a perfect day with such a beautiful sight. Learn more about the UTV Rides here and be sure to plan a tasting and UTV experience (post COVID when the UTV experience reopens)
Ernestine and I were so excited for the ride through the vineyards with The Maker Amy Chenoweth.
During your future visits, you must try Chenoweth’s Russian River Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir is hands down one of my favorites, (as you know) and this one was delicious. It has a stunning reflection of the sense of place, in this case from The Russian River’s Green Valley with amazing big fruit, earth flavors and just beautiful flavors and aromas.
Ernestine enjoying her ride. Speaking of Ernie, if you love her dog sweater, check out My Favorite Dog Products on my blog sharing some of my favorite’s for this little sweetie.
Nothing like a winery tour on a perfect day…
Views from the top of Chenoweth Vineyards at their Treehouse Vineyard. This is one of the most beautiful vineyards I’ve visited in Sonoma and has almost 360 views of Sonoma County. It’s magnificent. Cheers to Chenoweth Vineyards for such a lovely visit, and fantastic hospitality. I can’t wait to visit again!
