During the last day of our stay it was my birthday and the team was so sweet they surprised me with these beautiful flowers! Thank you to the Franciacorta Wine Association for the special celebration!

Fighting jetlag with the time change from California to Europe can be quite tough. The first morning I ordered coffee in bed which was really my savior. The fabulous hotel team brought it up literally in two minutes (talk about great service) and this became my morning ritual every day. Lovely especially with these views.

When in Italy… I loved that they had Persecco available every morning as well for guests to enjoy with breakfast. Considering I was drinking wine all day I skipped this for breakfast but still a lovely delicious option.

Morning views of breakfast. Each morning I would sit and take in the breathtaking Lake Iseo views while enjoying the amazing breakfast spread. I even ordered scrambled egg whites which the team kindly made for me since the buffet had scrambled eggs which I don’t eat. Such great service!

With 3 winery visits a day we did not get much time to relax and enjoy the spectacular Lake Iseo. On the last night of our stay (my birthday) we skipped dinner and took it easy at the hotel. This was hands down my favorite evening of laying out, hanging out with my fellow bloggers on the trip and chilling.

After 4 days of wine tasting this beer was incredible. Cheers to the amazing Lake Iseo views, this fabulous trip and life in Italy.
