Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for the Wine & Beauty Lover

Seppi Wines

I am beyond proud and excited to share that my best friend Kelsey Phelps just launched her Sparkling Wine, Seppi Wines. These are beyond delicious, approachable and perfect to enjoy with food or on its own. The Blanc de Blanc pairs perfectly with food (I loved with Asian) and the Rose is great with food or super drinkable on its own. Learn more and purchase Seppi Wines online here.

Gary Farrell Wines

As you know by now, Gary Farrell Wines from the Russian River Valley are wines that I adore. Not only because they have a wide variety of unique and high-quality single vineyard designates, but also I love their guest experience, their beautiful winery (with some of the most picturesque mountain top views of Healdsburg) and their experienced team of sommeliers who host guests during a visit.  Gary Farrell Wines make the perfect gift for any wine lover. Andnow for 2020 are their beautiful new blue labels. They’re so beautiful and luxury they really make the wines look so special and luxurious. Shop Gary Farrell wines online here.

The Rochiolio-Allen Vineyard Pinot Noir & Chardonnay are two of my favorites. Rochioli is one of the most historic and respected vineyards in the Russian River so pairing their lovely fruit with the fabulous winemaking skills at Gary Farrell Winery results in a stunning bottle of wine. Trust me and see for yourself!

Hanson of Sonoma Distillery

Another fabulous brand I’ve heard about but just had a chance to try (thanks for sending me samples guys) is Hanson of Sonoma Distillery. They make organic Vodka out of Sonoma and they have quite an assortment of flavors. My favorite is the cucumber vodka, but I also love the Meyer Lemon and let’s not forget about the original, how can you go wrong with an unflavored vodka? They have fabulous gift sets too (shown below) so what a fun gifting idea for the mixologist in your life or a wine-loving friend who may need a change of scenery and something a little unexpected.  Learn more about Hanson of Sonoma Distillery on their website here.

Gray Lane Beauty

As a gal who loves her mascara (I always say all I need is mascara, concealer, and lipstick and I’m good to go) I was thrilled when my friend, Layne Gray launched Gray Lane Beauty. The concept she’s offering is similar to a shave club where every quarter the client is sent a new mascara. Did you know that the FDA encourages you to replace your mascara monthly? Read more about her story online here.  That’s part of the reason this concept is so perfect you sign up to join and for $54 per year, or $18 per quarter you receive a brand new fabulous mascara. And, the best part is you’re supporting a female founder (which I always LOVE to do as a female and founder myself) and you’re getting an amazing product. Win-Win. Learn more and sign up for Gray Lane Beauty here.

As a JSF reader, use the code Emily to enjoy a discovery set (3 trial samples) for only $10. Link here to enjoy that!  Use before February 29th, 2020 to enjoy the discount.

Edaphos Wines

Another fabulous brand that just launched which wine lovers must get to know is Edaphos Wines. This is a new concept from the Ernest Vineyards Team.  “Edaphos (pronounced ee-dah-fos). It means “base,” “ground,” and “soil” in Greek. We consider this part of our business to be our “laboratory,” the place where we make small-lot wines that incorporate new and exciting approaches to winemaking with different styles and off-beat grape varietals. Sometimes we also call it our “sandbox.” The Edaphos strategy enables us to explore, experiment, and apply some of the lessons we learn to wines we make under our other labels. It also allows us to produce different wines whenever we feel like making them. See more about these beautiful wines below and learn more or purchase online here.

Edaphos is releasing their newest Edaphos Rose this week so those of you who are suckers for a beautiful light Rose (I can tell by the color of this one it’s my style) hurry and snag a bottle online here.

Maker Canned Wines

For those of you who love wine wherever you go, canned wine is perfect whether you’re packing for a picnic, a weekend road trip. I recently met the founders of Maker Wines, two female founders who are adorable. And their product is fabulous so what’s better than gifting a product that’s delicious, female-founded and great to gift or enjoy for yourself! Learn more about Maker Wines on their website here.

Brandless

Another brand I’ve recently started using is Brandless. They’re all about high-quality brands, with simple ingredients and accessible prices. I’ve fallen for their Grapefruit Facial Scrub and also their Hydrating Rosewater Facial Toner (both under $10 each). It’s pretty hard not to enjoy dabbling with new beauty products when they don’t break the bank and they work well. I love the scent of the facial toner.
